What are some less known acts on your lineup that you think deserve special recognition?
youth lagoon - short lived project, recording under new alias but i didn't know that until now. good blend of pop and weird. one of the fewer modern acts I have.
nevermore - great vocals and guitar, doom and thrash, which not a lot of people do both well usually because of vocals, but Dane was trained in opera so he's got the range.
big moe - under rated when compared with other houston rappers. im just a dog is an all time song for me.
soft machine - very influential but almost every other psych/prog band from the time is more famous.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I picked The Big Bopper and Richie Valens to play b2b2b with Buddy Holly for a Day The Music Died stage. Kinda morbid but yeah.
No Jim Croce?
Makes you wonder how these acts would interact out of time. Like, before Cap'n Mac picked Motley Crue they were gonna be on a bill with a guy that Vince Neil killed. That could've been awkward.

Well Jim Croce wasn't in the same plane as Buddy Holly, I only went with those who were in the crash
