If we are focusing on the prime of each artist, Lil Wayne at his peak should probably be the highest billed Hip-Hop act. He kinda fell off hard and Lauryn Hill and J Cole may seem like the bigger acts, but damn from 06-08 the guy seemed bigger than Drake is now.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I really like yours. Your entire lineup is fantastic. Just wondering. Any reason you didn’t go for some of the genres you skipped? Going for a large scale niche fest?

Thank you! Fair question. One of the things I wanted to go for when I first started compiling names for my fest was to have acts with "darker" themes/music (hence the name "Dark Days"). I'm not saying those themes don't exist in other genres, and I don't wanna be misunderstood; but for some reason I thought some of the other genres wouldn't fit well, so I skipped them. I also figured that I can't have the best (for me at least) of all the genres, so decided focusing on few of them while most drafters focus on multiple genres.
You sir, you just earned a vote. What an amazing line up! WITT, IDLES, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Clark, Prurient and so and so on.. That is some good shit right there.
But I wonder, how is post classic dark themed tho?

hahaha you're right. I should've been more clear. I think there is enough "dark" in some of the post-classical stuff as well. I don't feel particularly "bright" or happy after listening to Nils Frahm or Steve Reich.
And thank you!

I think I share 4 with Fred which would be the most so far. There's also a few more that were on my list but I ran out of room for. I really wanted Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto but I figured it would be a waste since I already have YMO.
