Haven't heard anything from cdevaney regarding that pick. I was thinking about picking Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds but I thought that wouldn't be okay so I just picked something else instead. Tho I think neither of those 3 are the same, are they?

I think they're fine. I drafted Dave and Friends, which would be his solo thing. Dave Matthews Band is it's own thing. Dave and Tim might be out of bounds, though it's probably just considered a collaboration. Then again, I think it's all covers of Dave & DMB songs as well as some others.

Hit us with that acts that need more love and an album I should listen to on the way home from work tonight.
It's pretty recent so you're probably already up on it but absolutely listen to Saba's new album Care for Me if you haven't already. One of the best hip-hop releases this year imo.
Arthur Russell was a legend in electronic music. He made songs in a ton of genres that were always ahead of their times. He worked with people from Phillip Glass to David Byrne. On this song David Byrne plays guitar:
I think one of the most unknown bands on my lineup is Fishmans. They were a Japanese dream pop/dub band and I think one of the best Japanese bands ever. Check out Long Season, which is technically one song but it's like half an hour long.
Kings Of Convenience is a Norwegian indie folk duo who were basically Fleet Foxes before Fleet Foxes existed.
Jens Lekman is a Swedish indie pop god. He reminds me a lot of a mixture of Sufjan Stevens and Stephen Merrit (The Magnetic Fields). His album Night Falls Over Kartedala is one of the best albums of the 2000s
Speaking of the Magnetic Fields, Stephin Merrit is another legend in indie music.
