Almost took the Book of Mormon as one of my replacements but I thought it’d be super difficult to schedule since it would need 2 1/2 hours on a stage at night. Plus, not sure how it would’ve gone over.
And you really shouldn't schedule anyone else on that stage.
No reason that you couldnt pipe and drape the display and have comedians or speakers speak.

That's reasonable. But scheduling music on the stage is a bridge too far for me personally. Of course, I'm well known guide being bigoted against stage shows, especially musicals, in fantasy festival drafts.
My list got rolled out on the holiday weekend so it didn't get much response, so I'm selfishly posting it again and asking if anyone has questions about any of the acts or just in general?

What's the deal with scheduling comedians, variety shows, Q&As and the like? It's typical for these acts to perform multiple sets in a weekend without being billed as such. I'm fine either way, just want to know where we stand.
I'm working on my schedule right now. I keep hitting roadblocks whenever I think of someone to replace The Jam, so I may just say fuck it and add a second set for one of my drafted artists.

I think that it should be okay for you schedule comedians for multiple sets since that is pretty for the industry, just don't advertise them as having multiple sets on your poster.

Anybody else have thoughts about it.
I don't agree with this, 2 sets = 2 sets, be it music or comedy. If you want ___________ comedian to play 3 times at your festival, you have to use 3 FAs on that, just like if you wanted _________ band to play 3 sets.
I think at this rate we will write a large guidebook that includes a lengthy list of rules for future drafts.
I think Monday is good as it will be the beginning of the week (hence more people will be around) and we don't have to rush for anything. Maybe we should exclude weekends from 72 hours of voting period for all the rounds?

I don't know. Some people can only pop in to Inforoo on the weekend.

i was kind of waffling on this, but to me 1 SET = 1 HR. if you want adam devine to have 4 15 minute sets that's fine, but if he's gonna do 4 45 minute sets you're pushing it. 2 hr sets are pretty industry standard, but so is 9 WSP sets, there's got to be a line.

There's some I'm really surprised no one else has, like Thompson Twins, Kenny Rogers, Culture Club, English Beat, Specials. I'm sad no one else took Lena Horne.

I think 45-60 minutes are standard for headliner level comedians.
I definitely think it should be different for comedy vs music. Bonnaroo pretty consistently schedules comedians for multiple sets and never bills or as such. On the rare occasion that they do so for a band they always advertise it.
