BTW for anyone that was wondering I was talking about here, it was Bob Dylan & The Band
Without looking into it, I would've thought that was a backing band situation. I might be wrong, though.
They did a tour together where they would each do solo sets, then do a bunch of songs together. It was borderline, but I think it technically counted. It was on the line enough that I decided not to try it, if that says anything.

Yeah. I appreciate ya there. A similar, though not direct comparison, was that I thought about taking Metallica with the SF Symphony Orchestra, but that was only two shows and super borderline. Didn't even bother.
They planned to do more, but Michael Kamen (composer/conductor) passed away and they never did.

that S&M record is so good. "No Leaf Clover" is one of my most listened to Metallica songs.
Queen so I can say I've shot them. Lady Gaga and ABBA for the outrageous outfits and the great shots they would produce.
Mad Dog O Roo? Lots of good hair.
As you know I love a good hair shot. The Runaways will probably give me the best opportunity to nail that
As a sample of what I can do here are some of Arleigh and Sasha from Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds at Brooklyn Bowl. Look out for he in the vocal superjam. She may be tiny but her voice is huge
There's a bigger name duo that I think are eligible but I'm worried it will be looked at as cheap if I draft them this late. Does anyone vote in that way, honestly?

If I had the chance before Dylan was picked solo I would've picked Bob Dylan with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. They only did Dylan tunes as far as I could find so they weren't eligible on their own.
The big act that would've fit a bunch of lineups that I was referring to earlier was the Rat Pack, though it might've been a struggle to do it with more than a core of Frank, Dean and Sammy. (What more would you really need, though?)

To quote Kung Fu (who I considered but didn't take because they kicked out a member who literally saved my ass once) "Give the Drummer Some" Your drum superjam will be fun to shoot as long as they aren't hidden by their kits or backing band members.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

cdevaney I see in the op you were going to allow me to repick for selecting redman twice. Im just going to count that foolery as a loss. Im done with my lineup and poster.
Staple Singers > Bobby Womack > Chaka Khan > /Kristofferson > George Jones/ > Smokey Robinson > Waylon > Sade > The Police
Jortles (your headliners make this, I wouldn't even need to see anyone after them)
White Reaper/ > Cunninglinguists > Eric Clapton & BB King > The Doors > Slum Village > Led Zeppelin
Cymande > Yo La Tengo > Wolf Parade > Killer Mike > Beach Boys > Beatles
Black Moon > Jeff Lynne > Johnny Cash > Beatles > Coltrane > Dizzy & Charlie
Kanye
Demetri Martin > Donald Glover > Aziz Ansari > Foghat > Rec Room Party > The Muppets
Band Of Horses > The D > The Killers > Killer Mike > The Strokes > /Goodie Mob / Outkast > Gorillaz (I think I had Goodie Mob after Outkast? I'd rather do it that way so I wouldn't have to run to Goodie mob and back to Outkast
Lily Allen > /Freddie Gibbs > Kali Uchis > Liam > Noel > Interpol > /Jaylib > Kanye > Outkast
Plant & Krauss > Joe Walsh > Stevie Wonder > Brian Wilson > Elton John & Billy Joel ( I would have had Stevie close it because they're not going to be as good as he is)
Katymae (I already told you I don't listen to a lot of your lineup but it's still cool. I'm not sure I'd even go to this fest but if I did find myself there, I'm sure I'd have fun.)
Ramblin Jack Elliott > Mariah > Whitney > ABBA > Bee Gees > /Melt Banana (that's weird as fuck ending that day with Melt Banana, I love it)
Steve Martin & Martin Short > Culture Club > Phil Collins > Johnny & June > Hank > Talking Heads > Paul Simon > John Prine (This is an amazing day though)
? > Kenny > Dolly > Queen > Gaga > Gay Superjam if I have any energy left
Main stage all day except I'd probably leave to see Drive Like Jehu
Postjack I don't know most of this stuff and I don't think I'd be adventurous enough to even go)
King T (It's a good lineup, headliners are great, lots of annoying missing the first 15 min. of a show type conflicts)
Love & Rockets/ > Damian Marley > Dixie Chicks > Patti Smith > Noel > Lou Reed > Fight The Power Superjam
Mitski > L7 > Killer Mike > St. Vincent > Eazy > Joan Jett > MLK > RATM > Amy Winehouse > I nned to look at the Psychadelic Superjam lineup again to see if I'd go straight to that or to Grimes first
Johnny Paycheck > Conway Twitty > Sturgill > /Harrison & Shankar > /Liam > /The Animals > Plastic Ono Band > CCR > Blur > Pulp > making me leave Pulp to see Spiritualized
King Crimson > ELP > Pink Floyd
Chandler Bing (You definitely have the worst conflicts I've seen so far. I guess that means you have a better lineup but does that matter if you can't see everything you want to see?)
Richie Havens/ > Warpaint > Toots & the Maytals > Florence & the Machine > Jefferson Airplane > Radiohead
Dinosaur Jr. vs Gary Clark Jr. is a tough conflict to start the day > Jimmy Cliff > Eddie Vedder > Steve Miller Band > M83 > White Stripes > Roger Waters
The War On Drugs > /Michael Kiwanuka > Solange > Pharrell > Radiohead > /Eric Clapton > /Sigur Ros > The Who
Slack (I considered doing something similar to this lay out but decided against it. But I guess you had so many headliners you pretty much had to.)
Colin Stetson > Arctic Monkeys > AC/DC
American Football > Duran Duran > Elton John
Fidlar > Alanis Morrissette > The Clash
Kamasi Washington > Dave Brubeck > Wynton Marsalis
Chandler Bing (You definitely have the worst conflicts I've seen so far. I guess that means you have a better lineup but does that matter if you can't see everything you want to see?)
I've to do something about crowd control though. Can't have it all in life, that's what happens when you go to festivals with great line ups.
