He and Black Bush should either provide picks to a proxy or provide their phone numbers to get contacted because this is getting old and we still have 40+ rounds to go. This will only get worse as people realize they don’t like their lineup and become disinterested.

This is a really good idea, but I think it would be a lot to expect from cdevaney, somebody else might need to assist him.

For that you gotta know the average time people pick and start from there. I think Cdev calculated that last draft. But.. I think it's a ridiculous proposal because people have shit outside of this game aswell (time zones, work, festivals, travel..), the only thing you gotta do in those situations then imo is let someone pick for you, that's all. There's a difference between 2h and 18h in between picks..

I think if people have a problem with this, you should just say only people who are basically always on the board are allowed to participate. I don't really care because it's just a game, but if you care about it then...I don't know what else to tell you.

real talk, it doesn't bother me. we all signed up knowing 24 hours was the rule (shortening to 12 hours later). although it's fun to see a bunch of picks made quickly, i'm also fine with this game taking longer because then we get to experience it for longer.
but if it bothers most of us, we should consider shortening the timeframe for the next draft. and honestly i'd be fine doing this same draft again, it's a good format that so far hasn't caused much argument.

I just don't think you can get mad at people for playing within the rules of the game.

I think the issue is that it's the same couple people taking 18 hours a pick

If we spent half as many posts talking about all the awesome music that's getting brought up as we do bitching about how long people are taking, (something I totally participate in, for sure) this would be a much more fun exercise.
