Of course I give up and drop him as a stash the day before he’s traded. And despite being first on waivers, you can’t reclaim a player you drop. Ugh. (This is the pay league.) Rough season this year.
Willing to entertain offers for TE and/or RB. Gronk is out this week. I’d consider moving him and another player for a worse TE and startable/better RB. I’m pretty deep at WR and Deshaun Watson is my bench/alternating QB, for those with needs there.
Word. I’m playing the hightest scoring team in one of my leagues which is ppr. He had Sanders and Lindsay from Thursday and already has over 48 points from Thursday. He’s still got Luck, Chubb, Thielen, Ertz and Hopkins.

McCoy going down on the first drive may have been a critical hit for me this week. I need to hope that Barkley gets 25 points. He's done it twice so far so it's not inconceivable but it's a tough ask.

Did you get the 25?
He did not. (I beat him.) Barkley still got a respectable 17-18 though. I got lucky and played McCoy in both leagues this week.
You were smart to draft Saquon though. In the pay league I skipped him to draft Hopkins—who is doing fine, but he’s no Saquon. I’m always leery about drafting rookies too high, but you definitely made the right first round pick. I really like drafting a bellcow RB to build my team around (who doesn’t, I guess?)—just didn’t happen this year.

Second ever fantasy season for me, current record is 2-5 in a 10-team league with 4 playoff spots. I've been going crazy with trades (7) and acquisitions (26) and finally I feel pretty confident about my team.
QB - Rodgers, Stafford RB - McCaffrey, Kerryon Johnson, Jordan Howard, Fournette WR - Antonio Brown, Diggs, Baldwin, Geronimo Allison, Tre'Quan Smith TE - Kittle, Even Engram D/ST - Rams, Patriots K - Butker
And after all that, someone in my league who basically hasn't touched their team since they autodrafted has a better record and team than me. Fantasy is such a frustrating waste of time, I love it.

With Rodgers, why carry a backup? Why carry Patriots D? Couldn’t trade engram?
You’ll learn but the #1 thing I’ve learned to be successful in fantasy is do not waste roster spots on backup QBs or TEs or Ds. That’s how i was able to carry nick Chubb in almost every league and benefit from trades / injuries / upcoming players.

That's good advice. Engram is playing the Bucs in week 11 during Kittle's BYE, is that too long to hold? And I'm playing the Patriots D against the Bills this week and then dropping them, but didn't want to lose the Rams D.
I just dropped Stafford for Trenton Cannon. If anyone has better suggestions I'm all ears.

Unless there's someone you really like, I'd keep Engram for that, and decide what to do with him later. If the Giants keep being so poor, I can't really see why you'd keep him.
I understand what you're doing, and like I said, I'm no expert. I just have benefitted a lot from roster construction.

Is McGuire available? I think he'll be the one to own when he comes back, not Cannon

He is available. Other interesting players available:
- Marvin Jones Jr - Taylor Gabriel - Ito Smith - Ronald Jones - Duke Johnson - Courtland Sutton
Played Watson in both leagues and Miller in the one I have him in. Other league my opponent had him on the bench. We only have 5 more weeks after this one, and I got first in one league and 3-4 in the other one. I need some wins in that one.
