It's probably not wise to do that. We have 4 folks in here and one of them is more than likely mafia. Seems like a wasted opportunity to just vote someone off that always gets himself in trouble. To big a chance we'd just be helping the mafia.
Having said that. It's tempting because we don't seem to be learning anything and this could drag out until at least Wednesday before we get any new information. It also seems LD will be voted out before the end so he is a liability.
I honestly haven't been paying attention to the game that much. I just reciprocate votes cause it's easier that way.
It feels like I'm going soon, so why try?
Based on this I'm considering the switch, sharing the frustration of others who have chimed in. I'm hesitant to pile on, but if we want to go to a two person runoff, I will consider switching to get LD to 4.

I actually think we are good. Both Maddog and LD are st 3 votes and we would have Danbob, Pablo, SFA as the revoters.
So this is either shitty town play at its finest or Mafia laying down knowing Day 2 isn’t going their way.
My thoughts on this are pretty much set in stone at this point. LD is an easy target. The mafia can usually just sit back with him because something tends to happen that turns the townies against him. Usually when I give him the benefit of the doubt it ends up being the right call.
I'm not necessarily there this game. He seemed a little weird at the start of this one and I've been watching him. But when I've been mafia with him, and from memory, he tends to be more engaged when he actually is mafia. So I'm definitely aware this just could be townie LD who's busy at work/has lost interest.
I think the laying down part is a possibility. I'm pretty confident at least 3 of the folks not in the runoff are cleared, if we still have 3 mafia odds are we have one in this group. I don't see them bringing much attention to themselves here. I guess it's just as likely they are laying back hoping we get frustrated and vote off LD or, if he's one, they are just letting fate decide.

But everyone should keep in mind how easy this is going and how most people who are being vocal seem fine with voting LD off. Which could very well mean the mafia is fine with the way this next runoff is looking like a lock for maddawg and LD. That usually isn't how the town gets mafia.

My main problem is it seems like this game everyone is throwing votes around like it’s nothing. LLL adds Kanye to a runoff but doesn’t want to lynch him. Like 3 people switched in the day 1 final. Now LD is just reciprocating and potent is debating a switch when we already have a runoff. It’s a little frustrating. I’m not sure if it’s mostly townies not being disciplined or mafia manipulation. Maybe even a little of both.

Just like people talk of ZIG being an "easy target" for a Mafia set-up, LD is also one, so I'm surprised that it would even be suggested. I understand the idea may be coming out of frustration, but he hasn't really been playing any differently than he usually does. Not that I would clear him, but he doesn't have my panties in a bunch and if I made a list of who I think feels town most out of the four of them, he is it.
So basically I have nothing more to add to the conversation at this point other than that it has me guessing that we did pretty well here with who we put in the run-off and that they are hoping we get them out of this by picking off a townie ourselves.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Yeah, we really aren't going off of much but we've had this voting spree thing going on for awhile at this point. I feel like random luck lead us to mafia a couple times and now it's somewhat the norm to just vote like crazy in round 1. It certainly confuses things later.
LLL's vote makes sense for the timing. I've added people to runoffs when they were the only option, even when I'm not that sure about voting them off. Maybe it wasn't the most optimal choice but it did make sense for the sake of adding people in.
One thing I was thinking is that if the mafia didn't have skin in the game, it's a good distancing maneuver to shuffle votes around and confuse things.

I'm staying put.
I'm not even sure I could make a list because things have been so quite but I mostly agree. My gut tells me voting off LD here is the easy play and it's probably what the mafia is hoping for.
WHen I'm mafia I always keep a list of who the townies seem most suspicious of and mention to my teammates that we want the town to do the work for us. This seems close to what's going on here in my opnion.
The other option is the mafia have just given up on him. Or, i guess, are hoping some townies will come along and defend him.
Overall, rushing through day 2 is obviously bad for info gathering. The town is basically stuck praying the inspector is still alive and/or we've just gotten lucky.
It all still doesn't really hold weight to me, he was active enough. Potent, Thor, maybe jaz (hard to tell at this point) had less to say all game. he was active and caring in trying to get zig killed, with most of his reasoning being that he doesn't think zig is going to be helpful. he gets put in a runoff, he's not even really all that in danger of being voted off in, and then starts crying about it.

Maybe we would be better off narrowing to 3, rather than 2 and take some more time. Not at all saying that LD isn't Mafia, but since more than one player here is feeling like he would be the mafia's best candidate for getting set up for the okey-doke, it is probably not in our best interest to have the runoff consist of only LD and one other player.

Being disengaged ≠ being active. You can post a lot and not say anything. Like voting without giving reason or going with something unhelpful like "I don't like how they play." That's what I meant by him not being engaged. Also, just going off a post count doesn't tell the whole story. A good bit of his activity is arguing about other games with Zig and posting "like." Compare Jaz's posts to LD's. Which ones have more substance and on topic commentary?
Ummm. He's in a pretty good amount of danger. And him feeling like he's about to be voted off and complaining, or "crying about it", is extremely common and has been for years.

Three will just cause a stalemate, I'm not sure how that would go but might be better than two if it forced some unexpected switches. It just seems that nobody wants to look at the other folks involved and it's going to end with LD anyway. If that's how folks feel we might as well get it over with I guess.

yeah, by active enough, I was saying he was coming in and saying anything. like him saying he's been busy and thats why he's not contributing, ok, but you have been coming in to say things, thats what bothers me/makes it seem suspicious.
he's in 'danger' but we haven't moved to the next round, there's no guarantee no one moves/an inspector comes out/etc. him giving up here makes me think he's mafia.

I think it's pretty clear he'd be voted off in a runoff as well. Or at least I could see why he'd think that this morning when he posted that.
And to be clear, I'm fine with him going forward. I think it's really likely there is mafia between him and Danbob based on the whack. I didn't get it at first but after looking at how the votes turned out I think Thor is a good choice as well. Thor is also super quite which seems unlike him.
From experience, this just seems too easy. That's what I've been trying to communicate.

Out of thor and dan? i guess I'd go thor, but not by much and for kind of innocuous things that have happened this game. more than anything it would be because i feel like he's slipped by more than others when he is mafia, but i don't think thats good enough reason.
i thought his reasoning for zig was shaky, i guess the thinking is if kanye was town it would make sense for mafia to want to keep him around, ld voted for him, but later came off.
if there's at least one mafia on zig (possibly more) it's not jaz, and if it's kanye great, but that leaves thor, lll, and ld. no one else felt LLL deserved to be in the runoff, and I'm more in line with thor's reasoning so far.
also his reasoning for jumping to dan was pretty much "i was just accused with someone else, and im not mafia, so i'll go along with what you're accusing him of".
idk still just kind of gut feeling here, I don't think it's dan or thor.
expanding on thor, i am still a little unsure of why he didn't try to get pablo or kanye more locked into the runoff because he seems to be defending zig a tad, his wording of why he voted zig kind of seems like it was more on principal of zigs move and not suspicion. i guess the counter of not moving off zig is that he ended up not having to because others did.
on dan, I dont have as much of a read. his exchange with LLL earlier about why she voted with kanye made sense to me, and i kind of take his side that her moves and what she was saying kind of contradicted herself.

I agree with you here as far as Thor goes. Part of my reason for suggesting 3 rather than the 2 that we currently have. I don't think the way things are going is the right run-off. LD could be playing quiet Mafia this time and I am admittedly rusty. I need to look back over some things.
I've been hemming and hawing all day about maybe moving. I wish we had more discussion going on. I know everyone is working though. I have thoughts on various players, but I can't figure out what I am picking up on.

Even if either Zig or Kanye is Mafia, I would still anticipate at least one other Mafia to be on ZIG. Certainly not a given, as Mafia could all vote together in the first round and we wouldn't know the difference, but USUALLY they try to split so that they can set up the pattern of distance. If Kanye was somehow Mafia, then definitely one of these two is Mafia. I, of course put a strike through myself for my own figuring, and all of you have to take that with a grain of salt. But I think having LD and Thor in this one gives us a greater chance at having at least one Mafia in the this run-off.

This runoff is pretty much my ideal runoff. I like the revotes as they’re mostly players still on my unknown or slightly suspicious categories so it’ll be good to get some more information from that. In regards to a three way I think that would be way easier for mafia to manipulate and maybe frame the people who switch out of necessity.

Could you explain how the whack makes it Thor or me? I don’t think anyone has suggested that so I’m curious.

I used too many pronouns. "Between him and Danbob" was referring to LD, which goes back to my post when I originally voted for you.
As far as Thor, I think LLL's example makes sense as well.

and "makes it" it too strong of a way to put it. I just think giving the information we have at the moment that was a good shot of getting a mafia. I'm not ride or die over it tho.
