Dan808 was the MVP. We never had a clue that you were Inspector, never mentioned your name once. I'll say that your assertion after you came out that you had dropped hints about me seems off, I don't think they are nearly as clear as you thought and the town wouldn't have picked up on them if we whacked you. But that's what made you stay off our radar. We figured no chance anybody had my name.
Runner-up to MVP was Jaz . The way he talked about Kanye at the end of D1 led us, or at least me, to think he was hinting at Kanye as inspector because he was inspector. Of course, him talking so much about Pablo helped too, unwittingly it turns out.
LVP was me. Kicking myself for voting LD over Thor on D2 as the deciding vote. If I vote Thor, it only confirms LD as mafia to the inspector, but it still takes D3 and D4 to vote us out, and leaves Pablo with a different cast on D5. In my defense, we've played parts of 3 games this calendar year and I've been mafia in all of them. I haven't been town in like 10 months.
It's really a shame to me that we vote off new players so easily, and that we treat women the way that we do. I know I personally contributed to one woman quitting, which I feel bad about. I had no idea that JR and Maizy quit because of the treatment they received (which was over ridiculous "cheating" allegations, so ridiculous that I didn't think anyone was serious about it). I always took you taking the summer off just as being great parents and spending time with your kids over this stupid game. I hope you'll come back, as I enjoy playing with both of you.
We need to be better. It's one thing to play the game, and to play it well and hard. It's another thing to be dicks about it.

Good game town. Sorry Maf but you guys were fairly transparent this game. By the end of the first round I thought that the Maf were three of Potent/Pablo/LD/LLL, and I'm NEVER right about who's Mafia, especially early on. In for next.

For a while, I was under the working impression that you (or Jaz) was Mafia and had my name. I sorta hinted at it in Day 2, saying why try when I'm gonna die soon anyway. I was assuming I was getting outed and ousted.

Yeah looking back I agree with you. I was so paranoid that every time I said your name I would out myself. Inspector is wayyyyy to stressful.
(I would also still like to try a game where there's no talking outside of voting. Just going off vote history and splits.)
I feel like this would give mafia the advantage. This game might have been an outlier but I think generally more talking from all players is beneficial to town. Although I’m also a player who judges things more from peoples reasonings than the vote splits themselves.
Well yeah, it would definitely make it easier for mafia, but an in person game leans town, so I'd be interested in seeing how hard it would be.
Keeping in mind that mafia also really needs people to be way off, or steer conversations to/away from people to survive as well, I think it could be fun.

We did have a good summer with the kids! Also, I renewed my Cisco certification, so, time wise, I could probably get involved with the next game.
I don’t think anyone here is actually sexist or a terrible person. I think we make the mistake of getting too caught up in the game and sometimes cross a line. I know I’m guilty of it. I think the best option is for everyone to apologize and be more mindful of playing hard while not crossing the line.

When Viking called Zolah "sugar tits", that definitely wasn't cool. It's just hard with this game because you never know what someone is doing to manipulate or what is actually hateful.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what has happened. It's not worth making a whole thing about. From my side, anyway.
If you feel that way, you feel that way, and I shouldn't try to minimize it. I wish more ladies played this game. We have barely enough people playing as it is.
I respect you as a player and I didn't mean to insult you in any way, beyond maybe a light ribbing. When I made the crack about Xanax, I was misreading the situation as you being a casual, recreational user. I was wrong, and I apologized as soon as I realized my mistake. I respect you as a player and a person. You're one of the better contributors in the game. I'd rather have you around than some of these dudes, for sure. Maybe most of them. Maybe all of them.
