It's been a Fab Four times. And I'd happily hear his story about getting Eric Clapton to tune Jimi Hendrix's guitar four thousand more times, if time and money were no factor.
Fenway Park, August '09 x2 (back-to-back nights). Fenway Park again, July '13. Sydney Olympic Park, December '17.
We had tickets to see him a second night last December, but, well... let's just say some big expenses arose and it would not have been financially prudent to keep them, so the living room now houses what I've affectionately dubbed The Couch That Paul Bought.
The first time I saw Paul was at Roo. Since then I've seen him.... six times now?
2013 - Bonnaroo 2014 - Pittsburgh 2014 - Louisville 2015 - Lolla 2017 - Tampa 2017 - Sydney
I feel like I'm missing one in there, but I'm pretty sure that's it. He's the one artist who I think I'd travel just about anywhere to see if I have the time & money to make it happen. When he was announced for ACL I was so crushed. Having lived in Austin for 2 years and gone to 3 years of ACL and never getting a legend act of that scale, it was soul crushing that it was Paul. But really, is there anyone on the same level as Paul? I mean really?
I'm still so salty about these too. Had I still lived in Columbus I would've been at both of these shows, bringing my total count to 8.
Particularly the Columbus show bc I moved from Columbus to Austin in August of 2015, then Paul announced his Columbus date (the first time he'd played there in 10 years) literally like a month after I moved. Paul has a tendency to break my heart like that...
But he did play Sydney for the first time in 24 years after I moved here, so I guess that helps a little.

I still don't get what this proves exactly. I'm sure most people here have seen Radiohead multiple times, Waters once, Beyonce, etc. and would see them all again given the chance.

Radiohead - at Roo '12, I was in the VIP area and could hear it in the background. In hindsight, I should of seen it. Back then I wasn't interested enough.
Waters - Hartford '12, Newport '15 (with MMJ), Boston '17 - and his special guest appearance at Newport '17
