Not even close, for my personal tastes. Seeing Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger helm an all time great folk jam session with some of the greatest country and folk artists ever, where people will be singing songs of resistance and protest in these trying times? Oooh Boy.
Now replace folk with punk, rock and rap and Woody and Pete with Rage, MLK, Lou Reed, Patti, Eazy E + more.
Metallica, Black Sabbath, Rush, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, Motorhead, Megadeth, Anthrax are you kidding me? Sade, Wu-Tang Clan, Erykah Badu, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Chaka Kham Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Kris Kristofferson, Conway Twitty Dr. John, Professor Longhair, Allen Toussiant, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & the Maytals
All of this in one place? This is not a contest guys.
no. I could have had Michael Jackson do two sets but that would be lame.
I think there are only a few artists out there where this is justified imo. Someone like David Bowie or bands like The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Radiohead have such a rich discography that sometimes a second set is a cool addition to your line up. I don't think it's lame, not for this draft.

Im going to respond to tЯist♡n two criticisms only because I didn't do much if any defending or marketing of my lineup while we were drafting.
I posted my first 6 artists because I clearly have the best top 6 and it is precisely what seperates my lineup in any way. If I was sang, I would have repeated that I own hard rock and metal instead of posting a top 20.
To defend the Beatles 2nd set - they are two clearly different sets. I needed everyone to understand that they could hear late discog beatles at my fest in addition to their standard set. I thought is was BS to assume that their one set would include a ton of songs that they never performed live. I used a superjam to make this work, and I still think that was the proper way to do this given my general understanding of the rules.
If we're naming the bands on our lineups, I have David Bowie, The Smiths, and R.E.M. Thanks for your vote!
I may be off on these details, but I still remember being between someone else and REM in the third round. I took someone else to no applause and then you took REM a pick or two later and the crowd went wild. Major draft regret. I think I would have been able to keep them with my current top 6, which would have been so cool.

I have Floyd doing two sets because their “peak” is so debatable and in their tour for each album, they played their most recent album in full. If I were to say The Wall was their peak, then that’s all you’d get. But this way, you could say one set is The Wall and another is Dark Side. Whatever your preference is. Not the case for most bands.
The best version of Clapton, SRV, Marc Bolan, Duane Allman, Kurt Cobain, Ritchie Blackmore, Dimebag Darrell, Trey Anastasio, Ernie Isley, Steven Wilson, Slash, Robert Fripp, Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham, Django Reinhardt, Hank Sherman, Jeff Loomis, Jay Reatard. That's a sexy run of guitarists.
