Gary Clark Jr. - Kacey Musgraves - Griz 21 Savage - Caamp - GoGo Penguin - Monsieur Perine
Kacey feels like she'd be above GCJ and 21 Savage seems like he'd be above Griz. But what do I know. (Literally nothing about the other three, for one thing.)
Confirmed by clue: Childish Gambino, Kacey Musgraves, 21 Savage, Gary Clark Jr, Griz, King Princess, Gogo Penguin, Monsieur Periné, Caamp
Reddit scoops (fwiw): Mumford and Sons, Tame Impala, The Raconteurs, AnCo (W1), Two Door Cinema Club, Otis the Destroyer
Semi-confirmed/Seems quite likely: The Lumineers, Judah and the Lion, Explosions in the Sky (W1)
Possible: Guns n Roses, Tool, Cardi B, Post Malone, Flume, the Strokes, Anderson .Paak, Billie Eillish, Courtney Barnett, Bad Bunny, Gesaffelstein, Hot Chip (I mostly doubt it but ok), Beach House
Guns N Roses - Childish Gambino - Mumford and Sons Tame Impala - The Lumineers - Flume The Raconteurs - 21 Savage - Anderson .Paak - Kacey Musgraves Gary Clark Jr. - Animal Collective - H.E.R. - Gesaffelstein
Neil/Bruce/Bey (not expecting any but we'll see, also throw in Frank Ocean/Kanye) Gesa/Beach House/Animal Collective (wouldn't be super shocking if we got 1/3, but i would be floored if we got all of them) also throw Bon Iver in that group, idk what he's up to but he hasn't been to ACL since at least '14 a big metal band thats not Disturbed Disclosure (not during a headliner this time) Claypool/Lennon Tyler (when's the last time he played here?) NERD tycho toro SZA IDLES Weyes blood snail mail boy genius (or at least one of the 3)

With those names, I'll be getting my ticket as soon as they're on sale.
i feel like it's doable, nothing super out there, except maybe gesa, but he's so hot right now. idles sold out their austin show in a few days, they could absolutely make it back, and that alone would be big for me.

Wishlist of non clues i want: Kanye/ Eminem/ Fleetwood Mac/ Justin Timberlake/ Rihanna/ System of a Down as far as any headliners Asap Rocky Schoolboy Q Anderson Paak Of Monsters and Men Dermot Kennedy Weezer Silversun Pickups Rob Zombie Korn Bring Me The Horizon Kid Cudi JID
Portugal the Man And of any band right now The Raconteurs which I’m hoping the rumors are true
We have to have ONE big, surprise headliner, making ACL different every year. Last year Paul and Metallica....
I wish it would be Beyonce, but that would just be a shitshow. Tickets would sell out tomorrow faster than they ever have. ACL website would definitely crash.
Im thinking The Boss, maybe The Cure, maybe Kanye.
I’d be surprised if they didn’t book Hot Chip. They have played C3 fests in the past, their schedule is lined up, and ACL always seems to get one legit act in that vein.

Even other festival filler headliners like Muse or the Black Keys would be more interesting than booking Mumford only 3 years later, who certainly haven't gone anywhere in terms of popularity since then. And Mumford in 2016 was somewhat forgivable since they scheduled LCD at the same time, so there was some quality counter-programming. I have a harder time picturing them putting Tame (a presumable #4 on the poster) on at the same time, and none of these other rumored second line names are doing much for me.
I'm getting sad again that I couldn't attend last year.
Edit: On second thought, give me Mumford vs. The Lumineers, just for the comedy and irony factor.
