Chris Stapleton tour with Marcus King makes it appear that Marcus will be playing Sunday (unless he's playing super Early Fri/Sat then driving back to play w/Chris at night)

Anyone on here end up going? I had a family trip this year so it was my first miss in six years. I had a chance to stop in Saturday evening but got delayed.
The people who have been to multiple Peach Fests seem to be saying it was the best yet while there seems to be complaints from first timers. Wondering what you all thought.

Long-time lurker here just registered to come in and answer this from a first-timer perspective:
Peach was incredible. One of the best vibes/crowds/weather/location of any concert or fest I've ever been to. Like Okee '16-level feels. Every age and demo was represented and I was amazed at how many families with small children there were that were having a wonderful time.
I live in Upstate Ny and have been to several shows at Montage, but this was my first fest there and was super impressed with the way they handled the logistics. I'd rather wait 2 hours in a wagon line chillin' with folks then hours in a car waiting to be parked.
That said, I can't imagine trying to camp on those slopes in the rain. Also of note were the number of those who went to Bisco, as well, and were all like "This is WAYYYY better!!!"
•Musically, all the headline acts were excellent. Thursday's Pigeon's>STI & Trey on Sat stood out. •Grace & Warren was low-key and magical. •The standards like Lettuce & Blues Traveler crushed it as usual. •Cory Wong may have the best Vulf-Universe show. •The undercard that blew me away the most, however, was Billy Strings. Holy cow. Must see.

Great to hear! I have heard a lot of the same feedback. It was one of the biggest crowds yet and a lot of first timers. This fest is always my favorite and the people who run it are good dudes who love the music and Peach crowd.

I'm in my late-30s and still kinda caught in the middle because I still like a good banger, but my friend from FLA and I decided to it would be good to do a jam/funk/roots weekend and relax. I love the older Deadhead crowd but was wondering if it was just going to be that. It's easy to get worried that half-generation behind me has gone totally EDM [not that there's anything wrong with EDM] and have left more traditional music and rock behind, but it was super encouraging to see how many college-25ish age attendees there were and were first-timers.
Our plans next year are to hit Okee now that it's coming back, but based on how close I am and how relatively inexpensive Peach was I may just snag the 2020 early bird on the flier that I might go myself on a last-second whim and just hand a hammock in the woods.
Date announcement should be coming soon. I believe it's moving to 4th of July weekend - I think that could work really well.
Last that I had heard, they really like the last week of July and were shooting for that but were working around a couple artists they were trying to book and the venue to finalize things. I think 4th of July weekend would be terrible personally. I know I would be out as we have a family trip every year and most people, especially in the older demographic here have some sort of Holiday plans.

Agree that it could hurt the older demographic a bit, but i think a lot of people will view 4th of July weekend as a bonus since they'll have to use once less vacation day, and "fireworks every night" is a decent selling point as an aside to the music.
