I found a link to bestclassicbands.com from Jazz Fest Forum. They think they've got some of the Stones tour figured out. Obviously it's just rumors and speculation at this point and probably won't be 100% accurate. But the rumored tour stops are:
04/20 or 04/24 - Miami, FL @ Hard Rock Stadium 04/20 or 04/24 - Jacksonville, FL @ IAA Bank Field 05/02 - New Orleans @ Jazz Fest 06/13 and/or 06/17 East Rutherford, NJ @ Metlife Stadium
The "fan site" without specific dates:
Houston, TX @ NRG Stadium Pasadena, CA @ Rose Bowl Santa Clara, CA @ Levi's Stadium Philadelphia, PA @ Lincoln Financial Field Denver, CO @ Mile High Stadium Chicago, IL @ Soldier Field Foxboro, MA @ Gillette Stadium
Caveat: I have no experience with this site and don't think I've ever been on it before. So I'm not making a value judgment on this content which is speculative anyway.

They are 100% an act that I probably wouldn't shell out the money for on a regular tour date show but would absolutely love to see at a festival I'm attending. Bucket list type of show. I love a lot of their work but don't know it all.

I felt the same way, but I feel like they’re getting to the age where I better just pony up and do it. Hoping the dates work out.

Yea, I think if I was a bigger fan or if I spent time really going through their catalog I'd probably do the same. I just know the hits and a couple of deep cuts/lesser known but overall I'm pretty clueless about their full catalog. But I also don't know what their setlists tend to be made of so it's all kind of a blank slate for me in terms of their shows.
Once a full tour with dates are official I will be looking into prices but I imagine they'd be insane so I don't know I'd hit up a regular tour date.
So here’s the deal. They turned what used to be jam or locals Thursday into an exclusive day. They replaced that with doing a first week Locals Thursday which might have only been an actual Jazz Fest day once or twice ever. It’s generally FSS and ThFSS. What they said was it’s going to be a special day and is probably going to run around 150-175 and will have a capped attendance. They never sell out Jazz Fest days and can accommodate well over 100k people when necessary. But this one will be different. Nobody knows what they will do that day (outside the stones) or how many of the other 12 stages will be used. Ideally for me, they’d have a a 4 act stupid lineup for that day, but it doesn’t matter. I’m going no matter what they do. I will pay. I dont know what the tour will feature but as much Some Girls, At Their Satanic Majesty’s Request, Goat’s Head Soup, Exile on Main St. and Emotional Rescue I can get the better. I like all the albums I’ve heard, but I don’t know that much of the later shit.
Also the traditional $70/80 ticket is for the first or second weekend. You just buy as many tickets as you need for each day of a given weekend. This will be a one off 50th Anniversary celebration ticket for that day only. It’s liable to cost but again, idgaf
Yeah. Some of the rumored headliners, while all good, are sort of ho-hum because we get them every couple years. That’s not any hate or anything, because I’ll be at some of those days regardless. But the nights are shaping up hard for me with jam/jamtronica since I’ll see Disco Biscuits twice and String Cheese either 2 or 3 times along with Pigeons. Pork Tornado and Vida Blue are both rumored along with Black Star and Phil and the Terapin Family Band and Bob Weir & Wolf Brothers as well as Foundation of Funk with Gary Clark Jr. By the time they announce the other 6-700 night shows, I’ll end up having to miss more shit than I want to.
I wonder if they'll play Kaaboo Texas? Seems about the right time to be up there considering it's the weekend after weekend 2 of Jazz Fest. Looks like this forum (which has over 2000 posts in their Stones 2019 Tour thread I haven't read it all just went to page 68), someone seems to think that the tour announcement will be Monday at 3:00pm EST.

A radio station in Boston mentioned a major announcement regarding the Stones on Monday at 3 pm, which I'm assuming is confirmation of the Gillette date.

Jazzfest will allegedly have a cap of 50K or so tickets sold, which would explain the higher price the tickets are supposed to cost.
The Stones in Orlando 2015 were incredible, easily blew away any expectations I had.
Only 50k! That's like 1990's jazzfest attendence. I would be way more willing to check out the Stones at JazzFest if that's the case.
It’s not going to be a cheap day - probably 150-175. Also there’s a good question as to how they are going to handle it. For instance will they just use Acura Stage, will they use some but not all of the other stages or what. I know the days fluctuate between 30-105k people but since there will only be room for 50,000 (plus another couple hundred who sneak in) how is it going to work?
