I can elaborate further but I don't think its necessary. While the recent whack does generally point in a direction that doesn't mean it's not intentionally pointing there.
I tried to hold out as long as I could to try and find the third person. But Carini and I are in danger, and if we don't take out a Mafia today - we probably lose. Unless we got lucky with JTR.

Given that I am aware that LD is Mafia (as he wouldn't fake inspector and pin me as mafia, if he were town) - I'm not convinced that Carini isn't an additional scapegoat. In an attempt to save himself "and Carini", he is trying to make sure that the next round (if not this one) involves Carini in a runoff. While it could be a trap, I am now under the assumption that Carini is town.

LD is Inspector for the 20th time and fucking it up like usual....not surprising.

I realize the timing is poor and it basically reeks of desperation on my part. As the town can see, Pablo and Tainted are already taking full advantage of that. I know.
It would be negligent of me though to go out and not at least put my cards out on the table. I was hoping to avoid the runoff, hoping people would vote Pablo. But it didn't turn to such, so now it's hail Mary time.
While my situation doesn't look good, and I once again did a mediocre job as Inspector - I do have truth on my side and I have numbers on my side.
Carini is town. At this point, I'm confident enough to say Maddog is likely town.
That leaves Zig, Jaz, and the dead JTR - two town, one Mafia. I don't know who is the bad guy, I don't know if I have an ally among the town. If I die tonight, it's probably a 50-50 it's game over. So I have to throw myself out there.

I was hoping to get out of the runoff
I wanted to see how votes played out before revealing, so I could try and get Intel on Mafia 3 before they all have to blend in rather than act natural

honestly not sure.
pablo makes sense with a kanye whack, but so does carini. I don't think the thor whack was supposed to mean anything other than he's good.
i've been kind of suspicious of LD, but mainly due to him voting on me. this reveal lines up a lot of things really well, but im not sure because of that.
if LD is lying I think we've got LD-Carini/Pablo/taint-a third.
still feel uneasy about zig keeping it at a 3 out of 10 the whole game.

It's gotta be one of the two whacks, right? Thor or Kanye. I'd definitely expect Dan or James to reveal before being lynched.
Kanye was pointing somewhat toward Carini and myself, but then made that weird vote like he didnt know what he was trying to do. But now Fake Inspector LD has cleared Carini..

I can dismiss LD’s timing because he always does this stupid shit when he’s inspector so that aspect doesn’t raise eyebrows to me because its on brand for LD. The fact that the scenario he provided is exactly what he needs in his position and that he called you Mafia are the two items that have me questioning it.
i mean if he's lying i still kind of feel like it's going to be carini, I don't know that I could immediately discount pablo in that situation as well because mafia LD could be trying to cover for him.
and if LD doesn't get lynched then hopefully he doesn't fuck up his guess.

I think it makes most sense to vote for Pablo for two reasons. Firstly, letting LD live puts the onus on the Mafia to choose to whack him or let him live. That tells us more than just lynching him (if the game continues after voting him out). The other reason is that I don't really see the utility in naming Tainted as a Mafia if he's faking. That just ensures that he's got someone voting for him should he survive. Why make enemies? Even if it's LD/Carini + ZIG or MD or Tainted, I still don't see the point in having a guaranteed vote against you.

Pages 6 and 7 are pretty interesting for the game, and how I tended to figure things out.
Pablo, who I already knew was Mafia, was the first one to make a post stating his opinion as to who he thought was suspicious and who wasn't. Thor got whacked and Kanye linked it to Pablo and Carini. I already knew you were town, so I make a hint saying I think you're possibly being set up (wouldn't be the first time).
There is also a spot on Page 7 where Tainted addresses the Carini-Thor connection, but it's kinda vague.
