It's sad that you guys are falling for this, are you even paying attention? Everyone who is town, do you really believe LD is your inspector? If so, why?? Put the fucking bong down. Think about odds, what are the odds LD could possibly be telling the truth in this scenario and at this level of the game with the very obvious cost of a crushing defeat to him and his 2 buddies if he isn't believed? Do you really feel like playing a statistical improbability is your best option?
Town loses if it buys the LD inspector scenario. A simple reread will clear up any confusion, unless you're just checked.
I can see how you see it that way. At the time, I think your vote to push Danbob up to 4 before the deadline (essentially attempting to skip a round) probably caused those reactionary vote changes as most here tend to not want to skip rounds (myself included even though I do what you did frequently).
One option is that it was just townies trying to switch up votes to counteract your round skip and bring it back to 3 in the runoff. Another option that you are eluding to is that Mafia took use of your switch to shuffle things around to benefit them.
Personally, I didn’t see much difference in having Carini or Thor in the runoff with me and Danbob because I felt like it was going to be me and Danbob ultimately so that 3rd person would have gotten dropped anyway.

If you're town, what theories do you have other than LD is Mafia and Carini is town? Because that would make Pablo town also, and then I have no clue how to make sense of the whacks.
I think it makes most sense to vote for Pablo for two reasons. Firstly, letting LD live puts the onus on the Mafia to choose to whack him or let him live. That tells us more than just lynching him (if the game continues after voting him out). The other reason is that I don't really see the utility in naming Tainted as a Mafia if he's faking. That just ensures that he's got someone voting for him should he survive. Why make enemies? Even if it's LD/Carini + ZIG or MD or Tainted, I still don't see the point in having a guaranteed vote against you.

I have an answer to this, and it will help clear the theories concept you just posed to me in your post from a few seconds ago. LD, being that he is mafia scum and smarter than the average leather shoe, is not making enemies with 1 person. He is actually making enemies with up to 2 people, and making friends logically with up to 1 person. He isn't calling a single person out, he is calling out damn near 40% of the game pieces and spreading vitriol in as many directions as he can. My theory at this point revolves more around LD and shit bird and a third, as Carini is completely in his right to feel relaxed and engage the situation as LD is inspector (assuming he is town) because he knows he is town, so why would he feel otherwise? It puts a big target on his back moving forward. I feel its shit bird and LD because LD outed himself and shit bird has literally given me NOTHING this entire fucking game. Has anyone here ever seen anything like this? I haven't, and if I ever did or saw anything close ZIG was the culprit. Early on in the game it felt like maybe he just plays a different game now, but he was so quick to make a response earlier today then sat, and sat, and sat, and sat and didn't say shit but sat online and then eventually really didn't produce much even though I'm still egging him on. I've poked at him prodded and done everything I can to get a rise but it isn't happening. You ask me? There's your guy.

lol thats fucking dumb. he was the final stack. the round ended. he threw a known town into a runoff that did not have his given name in it. he could have retaliated votes with pablo, he could have actually done what he was trying to get everyone else to do (vote Zig/Taint/Jaz), he did the absolute worst possible move.
