dude its been difficult to differentiate anything from anything this game, why would anyone assume anyone is or isn't mafia at this point and what makes you the exception?

I actually thought LD's strategy was fascinating. When there were 7 players left, he knew the identities of 4 (1 mafia, 2 town, 1 him). Three people, and 1 or 2 possible mafia out of those 3. He took a shot and it backfired spectacularly, but I love it.

I didn't love it when it first happened. I double checked our PMs like 4 times to make sure I didn't answer him incorrectly. Give a dude a heads up next time, my man!

We actually thought he was doing another fake as a townie because he had the wrong role for Taint.

I figured I was in the hole anyway, so throw a hail Mary. I had some inexplicable confidence in Tainted. He then voted for me. So I went for it.

I'm not sure why you thought you were in the hole - you come out on D3 with your real information, you've got 3 people and at worst 2 of them are bad guys.  Getting Maddog and Carini on your side at that point would have been good, and not having Taint be fully against you would have helped.  I kept rooting for you to come clean after it backfired.  I wonder how it would have played out if you explained to Taint that he was one of three unknowns and you played the odds but missed on, like, Saturday.
