Billie kind of seems like she'd fit the Ellie Goulding/Lorde 5th on the poster spot pretty well, but I also think she's still going to continue growing in popularity versus those other two

Not sure if Tyler could headline or not, but him having the #1 album of the week just means he beat a DJ Khaled album most of us probably didn't know existed. The JUICE WRLD album that came out this year had a better 1st week of sales than IGOR

He just had a number one album. I hear normal people playing and singing along to Earfquake. I see it happening
I think he might be in that awkward 3/4 spot where the artist wants to be a HL but the festival won’t be billed there (Lana too).
If Bonnaroo continues releasing the lineup by day I could see him being the second name on the day (where Odesza/The Lumineers are). Tyler is big but he's not as big as Cardi, who isn't headlining.
Friday: Tame Impala - Martin Garrix - Lizzo - Tyler Childers
Saturday: Tyler the Creator - My Morning Jacket - Logic - Excision
Sunday: Neil Young - Vampire Weekend - Migos - Foster the People
would be legit stoked for tame impala > martin garrix LN, tyler > excision LN, and Vampire Weekend > Neil to close. good variety in those schedule slots.
I might be remembering incorrectly, but I think it's rumored that the MMJ dates this summer are their last for a while?
Wasn’t it just their only ones this year? I don’t keep up with their live plans too closely.
I'm pretty sure I read in some interview with Jim a month or two ago that they'll be back with a new album next year, but he's also been saying that basically since The Waterfall came out so hard to be sure. I don't think the hiatus/breakup rumors are true though.
I'd just really hope we'd get MMJ doing late night Which if they came back to Roo

Would it really be that surprising? He just headlined Gov Ball and Posty is headlining this year.
If Coach or Roo booked him as a top 3, I think they'd be taking a bit of a risk. Tyler absolutely has a large (and growing) fanbase, but it's not the size of Post Malone's or Childish Gambino's. Or Tame Impala's.
