I didn’t see a lot of EDM acts on the top so mine is just gonna be top EDM acts 1. RL Grime 2016 2. Odesza 2019 3. Virtual Self 2018 4. Zhu 2019 5. Marshmello 2017 6. Chainsmokers 2016
Ik marshmello and Chainsmokers will be frowned upon but those shoes were still bangin. And the chainsmokers were before the went to straight crap.
If you have the resources, do it. I've been to quite a few festivals, and the benefit of VIP is the greatest at Bonnaroo in my opinion.
I’m not balling like that, but proximity to Centeroo and shaded areas alone is worth it almost on its own. Nothing worse than a 45-minute walk to your tent in Pod 10 at 3am.
I went 08-16. Here’s my top 10 with some honorable mentions.
1. Paul McCartney(13) 2. Stevie Wonder(10) 3. Radiohead(12) 4. Elton John(14) 5. Tom Petty(13) 6. Jack White(14) 7. LCD Soundsystem(16) 8. Lionel Richie(14) 9. My Morning Jacket(08) 10. Jay-Z(10)

I benefited from Bassnectar being the same time as Beck at Voodoo this year. My only concern is that he’ll be on Which. At Voodoo the bassheads camped out Le Plur and stayed out of the way. I’m gonna be bummed if I’m unable to swim through the sea of white kids with dreadlocks to get a good spot for someone I actually want to see on Which.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I just really don't see Roo bringing back Bassnectar so soon. It's not like he's an artist that is back after 2 years cause they've moved up the lineup. He was 5th in 2018 and played LN Which. He'd probably be billed the exact same.

A part of me wouldnt mind Bassnectar, because he's a sure ticket-mover especially for a festival like Bonnaroo. That gives the bookers the ability to get weirder with the rest of the lineup.
On the other hand though, Bassheads are the absolute worst people I have ever met. Historically, I imagine they are somewhere between Scientologists and the Gestapo.
I don’t think I’ve seen Elton as anyone’s number one yet? Just curious why you rank it as the best you’ve seen.
circumstances. Group I was with that year. Headspace for the show. Had been wanting to see him for ages. Just hit me with some feels.
I see! I got hit with the feels a ton at that show too and had been dying to see him my whole life. The buzz lightyear balloon flying up during rocket man is forever ingrained into my head with a serotonin release every time I think about it. Elton was probably my most anticipated act Ive wanted to see in the time waiting to get to Roo, I remember drawing a mock lineup on a big piece of paper I had because in 14’ they stated on Instagram to make a lineup of artists you enjoyed and wanted to see and post it with their hashtag. And I remember putting Elton John and Billy Joel both as the biggest names and Elton John actually headlining when the lineup dropped. I was freaking out. Then funny enough Billy the year after. But anyways, just thought it was interesting to see a vet list that as their favorite set ever when most are just Paul or Radiohead, understandably tho.
