It boggles my mind that bonnaroo hasnt booked Hot Chip in over 10 years. What a great group, they were great a couple months ago when I saw them.
pretty sure at this point roo only books electronic music that you can destroy your trailer to while you're in that perfect midpoint between that crack hit and the k-hole
Am I crazy for thinking that the pumpkins wouldn't even headline if they played? Definitely do not think they're playing but I feel like they'd sub at this point.
Comedy shit but so fucking annoying because you want to sing all the shit you know only to feel like you’re fucking up every verse of Sweet Leaf, Snow Blind or whatever only to get Sweet Beef or GMO Blind. :/

please let me be wrong
Hot Chip isn’t really even electronic music though
More indietronica/synth pop—like they booked Rufus Du Sol just last year and they’re the same genre basically (albeit more popular with the kids)
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

those descriptors aren't mutually exclusive. if i had said techno, acid, happy hardcore or even edm i'd agree 100%
They would make sense. Up and coming pretty fast in the jam scene and have a lot of people interested in them, probably don't cost all that much to book either. I'd happily see them
My uncle lives in Seattle and has a story from a friend who works at a hardware store. The store is in either Portland or Seattle. The friend was working on a weekend and Stevie Nicks came in looking for some propane. The friend asked her what was going and she said the party she was at ran out of propane. She got sent out to get more. Of course he asked her whose party it was. Stevie responded that she was at Dave Mathews's house. So they both will be playing roo and doing a super jam together.
