anyone know when they play Africa in their set. do they have other songs.
I have a friend who is a giant fan of Toto's discography
Rosanna is about Rosanna Arquette. The lead singer of Toto was dating her. Then a few years later Peter Gabriel wrote In Your Eyes, about Rosanne Arquette. Because he was dating her. Then John Cusack lifted a boombox over his head.

Did you also know that Toto is Spanish slang for vagina?

Where would Sleater Kinney be if they ended up on the lineup? Top 20?
Yeah, I’d think same slot as NMH was in 14. Probably 15-25 on the lineup or maybe where Beach House was billed if they release the lineup by day again.

He's appeared once in the last sixteen years, right? He's toured a lot in that time and, aside from Buffalo Springfield, nothing's come of it despite reported interest from the festival. I just don't think he's too into into it.

He’s already played the festival twice and was nearly booked again in 2012 or 13. It’s not lack of interest, Neil just can’t be relied on. There was supposed to be NYCH tour this year but it’s apparently being put off until next year so Neil can finish the 19 movies he’s working on or something like that.

We essentially just said the same thing and used it to support different conclusions.
Did we?
I think that we did.
We both said that he's played once in the last sixteen years. My post implied that he played before that since the festival is more than sixteen years old.
We both said that they've tried to book him since.

They almost booked NYCH last tour and it didn’t work out. That was his last big tour and Neil has only been doing a handful of shows every year since, so to say “well he must not be interested in Bonnaroo” doesn’t make sense. He’s already announced NYCH will be playing 2020 shows and there’s every reason to be optimistic it’ll be another full tour like the last one.
Obviously he’s a mercurial dude, but this is best case scenario at this point.
Will be interested to see if the return of Okee hurts attendance next year.
I'd say it definitely depends on the direction Insomniac takes it. If they stay true to what Okee has been in the past I think it will draw people away, but if they make it the Electric Forest of the south it's a bit different of a target audience. That being said, I hope they stay true to form and book a bangin lineup because I'd probably go to both Okee and Roo next year
