Would it really be that surprising? He just headlined Gov Ball and Posty is headlining this year.
If Coach or Roo booked him as a top 3, I think they'd be taking a bit of a risk. Tyler absolutely has a large (and growing) fanbase, but it's not the size of Post Malone's or Childish Gambino's. Or Tame Impala's.
Would Camp Flog Gnaw affect Coachella booking him? If not, Tyler has a huge following out there.

Interestingly, Tyler has more Spotify monthly followers than Childish right now.
its very obvious his acting gets him the attention/billing it does, idk that i can take an argument that he's a better musical artist than tyler seriously.

(Anecdotal, but) I know way more people my age who listen to and enjoy Dave Matthews than Phish, so if they're looking for a jam-adjacent headliner I think thatd be a slam dunk

whats funny is this year i'm sitting here laughing at all the non-phish fans upset about phish taking up so much prime schedule real estate, then i read your post and immediately become upset.

I know we hopelessly talk about it every year, but do we have any official word on what Radiohead is doing next year? I know Thom is doing his solo album right now but I wouldn't be surprised if they recorded some stuff on their last tour. Too many side projects to keep up with.
