your saturday that papadosio > bisco > oysterhead is so crunchy i chipped a tooth.
is young thug too big for a tent? regardless caribou or mastodon > young thug late night would be ridiculous.
if this was real i'd be whining about moving excision to LN Friday. also oysterhead and martin garrix conflicting. garrix is one of the few vegas-style DJs i really like.
solid mock overall, love the variety of genres and balance throughout the weekend. in fact in almost feels a little too balanced to be realistic, if that makes sense.
I actually have Mastodon randomly conflicting with Tame (as opposed to Caribou) there just because it seems like some unnecessary shit that would happen. But it would be Mastodon -> Caribou -> Young Thug... if you wanted.
Also want to note that I primarily just took a look at last years lineup and tried to swap acts with similar acts that I could find in all of the Walaka mocks. Then I looked at it and tried to make sure I would be right in the space where "underwhelming" meets "still willing to make the trip to the farm." That last portion required me to remove James Blake, Run the Jewels, King Gizzard and more.
I really really hope we get one legacy act like Bruce, Neil, or The Cure. One of those 3 would get me back to the farm pretty quickly. While I love Foo Fighters if they are the number one I hope 2-6 are really strong

That's very realistic in that I probably wouldn't go but there's just enough interesting names I'd get a bit of fomo the week before and check resale prices before remembering the various actual responsibilities I have
Heres a couple dream top lines for me. Any feel plausible to you? Do you think they would sell well?
Friday: Tame Impala | Widespread Panic Saturday: Frank Ocean | Skrillex Sunday: Bruce Springsteen | Lizzo
All I would need to be excited
I'm more excited at the prospect of Impala and Ocean both, now than when they originally played the festival at a HL or pre-HL capacity. Just a feeling about it. Also, unless there's work from Skrillex blazing a trail - expect whatever DJ/EDM artist they throw up there to be higher than where Girl Talk was. Unless you could book Chemical Brothers. Otherwise I just don't see it right now.
Mastodon overlapped with Kanye last time they played. I'd hope they wouldn't screw them (or me) like that again.
Yea, I was with the groop and didn't go to Mastodon, still regret it.
They opened with Hearts Alive, too.
Saw a few songs and went to Disclosure, which was fine. Girlfriend wasn't a metal person at all, really. I really regret not seeing Meshuggah and going to bed early, though.

Meshuggah ruled. They cleared the tent of casuals pretty quick and then just played a loud and heavy set to a half empty but enthusiastic crowd.
That was a good night for fans of heavy music. Mastodon>deafheaven>meshuggah.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

This gives me the same FOMO as 2018, which is to say not much at all.
