If only there were two thousand years of substance and thought put into what a piece of dogshit Kanye's *theology* is. If only people could realize what a total goon Kanye West is in the context of the Christian faith, which he erroneously and absurdly claims to follow.

Rage in Mpls during the RNC in 2008 will probably forever be the greatest concert i've ever been to. exiting the arena to the arena being surrounded by swat/police in full gear was surreal. an experience i will never forget
Anyway, presale month is already here so hopefully we get some solid leaks soon so we can see who’s headlining this thing besides Tame Impala and Vampire Weekend. There’s not many headliners I’m dying to see that we’re likely to get.

i must have missed something, do we have anything that gives us confidence in Tame Impala? i know VW is pretty much kangfirmed due to tour routing.

Definitely someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but as far as I can tell Kanye's understanding of the faith basically boils down to: "don't swear or have sex before marriage, and talk about Jesus all the time in vague platitudes"... I think even if you like the album, you gotta admit he's not very nuanced about it
(to be fair to Kanye, he's hardly unique in that regard)
ACL makes more sense. They have Gospel Brunch, churchy stuff for kids, Lauren Daigle played to a pretty big crowd this year. Like I get he did Service at coachella, but that almost seemed like a compromise and not what Coachella was probably shooting for when negotiations started, but a main stage Sunday Service would probably slay at 3 pm Sunday at ACL.
