The National * Blink 182 * Odesza * Machine Gun Kelly ............... if MGK is a little too ridiculous as a HL (the answer is yes) then sub in Lil Wayne or another 20 minute performance rapper.
Imagine Dragons - Blink 182 - Panic! At The Disco - Skrillex - Lil Wayne
Seems about Ohio
I'd be down but there's no way Skrillex shows up on Bunbury's lineup when he hasn't popped up on a single fest lineup in 2019 (that I'm aware of - and no I don't count DBlood lol)

Also, incredibly unlikely but Paul McCartney has dates on the 1st in Lexington and the 3rd in Fort Wayne. Not holding my breath because it would be by far the biggest get they've ever had
Blink-182 just cancelled again. This time because they are in the studio working on a new album. Pretty lame to pull out of something you committed to a year ago for pretty much no good reason.

would explain Fall Out Boy possibly being today's clue.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

But seriously, LOL at blink cancelling again and especially with such a non-excuse. This Skiba incarnation of the band sucks anyway but this is lower than Clark Griswold’s boss replacing his Christmas bonus with a membership to jelly of the month club.

Blink canceling again is just an awful look for the band. But that being said this could be a blessing for the lineup. I’m sure they aren’t cheap, they can prob land a better act at that price to fill in at the #4 spot(according to somebody with some connections they weren’t going to be a top 3).
That being said I’m hoping for a decent lineup this year as I’d like go again if I don’t do Roo. The price for Bunbury is reasonable(under $200 after fees), and its a 2.5-3 drive and I have free places to stay.
I’m wondering if Vampire Weekend could be on the top line. They are supposed to announce their tour tomorrow, the same day as the lineup comes out.

I don't have a good feeling that this lineup will be decent based on previous lineups/other lineup qualities being down and this likely to follow the trend/ the clues thus far ... all that being said I like this festival and if Vampire Weekend is one of the headliners I may want to go to their day.

For $200 if I can get 1 exciting headliner, 1 other headliner worth seeing and 8-10 solid acts over the weekend it’s worth it for me. Cinci is a fun city which helps the overall experience of the weekend.

Left out of that Blink 182 announcement was the fact that people that bought single day tickets for their day last year were offered slightly discounted early bird tickets for this years fest, but they had to buy them MONTHS ago, like right around the festival last year. I'm hoping there aren't that many people that would buy tickets exclusively for Blink (I mean, they've been touring pretty regularly since 2009 or so), but it's still pretty awful to offer those tickets and then the band cancels again.
Anyway, Lucius, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, Guided by Voices, and Josh Ritter all just announced upcoming shows in the city, so Bunbury is gonna be a moot point for me.

Yea. Definitely not enough for me to go, even on the cheap with a short trip.
Back to trying to convince a friend or two to go to Roo(or see what Forecastle comes out with).
