Then potent switched off of me saving me from the runoff to put Thor in
Later to reciprocate I took my vote off potent to tainted to stack the runoff

It's not that we are assuming he was inspector, it's that we are assuming Mafia felt he was inspector.

I was unclear. Cookin' Mama what I should have said is you can't assume automatically how an inspector will vote with regard to the given name. It could be with or against just as easily.
