Although I want to keep this game moving, I feel like two is in a weird spot where we would think we should extend further for Thor if he wasnt here yet. My thought is 4 or 6 as much as that sucks.

My thought was that he has checked in over lunch a few times, and that encompassed his lunch hour. I'm fine with whatever, just wanted feedback from people so thanks everyone.

LD now that Thor has cast a vote, I think it makes sense to have everyone check in and head toward a night close of this round, like 9 or 10pm tonight.

I know it's a lot of work, but has anyone read through from day one trying to imagine me playing this game, my first game, as mafia? Coached or uncoached? Could someone do me that charity?
Also, is it true that moving on from now, any new player will be able to "reveal" on day 2 with one "perfectly random correct guess" from night one and have total buy in from the town? Is that how this game can be won by mafia from now on? I still lean that it is a brilliant move by Potent instead of a desperate one by JTR.
JTR literally could have used ANY of the living names... "Thor was my given and Jaz was my first guess. The town wasn't on track so I felt like I had to reveal now," and Jaz would be lynched D2 and Thor D3. The minimal suspicion he raised about me as "bread crumbs" for the town could have been replaced with "man its interesting that Thor isn't participating very much" one hour before the reveal.
A couple people have stated that my defense was suspect. Put yourself back in your first game mafia shoes. Name a more difficult task than defending a blindside given-name accusation. Nobody has clarified how my defense was suspect, but I'm surprised people would expect expert level defense in that situation. It also hurts the theory that I'm being coached. I hate to use the first game excuse, but holy shit that was tough to respond to when I had never seen anything like it.

I guess I understand where you're coming from, but I feel like it's not acknowledging that I have been the one to push back most against the reveal and I've got a ton of questions about it. I'd be sympathetic to your position, thinking of Tainted last game shouting into the wind, if you weren't so sure that I was complicit in this. But you continuing to attack me as mafia does have an effect on my thinking.
I urge the people voting for me to vote for carini or jortles, carini probably gonna force me into the runoff and that's kind of stupid lol

We've kind of done this dance before, and I have to explain that you being a part of it is just the only way I have found to make sense of it. I'm not saying it has to be that way, but I do think the following would make sense to me as a great strategy:
JR whack = maddog Potent saved maddog Jortles is raising the most suspicion about this, and has also connected kanye to potent (though he isn't set on that connection) Thor also raised this suspicion day one Mafia gameplan: since JTR has not been suspected of anything and is a new player, we can get Jortles lynched day 2 and whack Thor day 2 - clear all suspicion town lynches carini day 3 and whack jaz day 3 (jaz has raised minimal potent / maddog suspicion)
Mafia goes into day 4 at 2-3 with a great shot at a comeback after losing maddog day 1.
The only other scenario that I've considered is if Kanye is in cahoots with JTR. He never flinched once at the reveal. Was so happy for his buddy. Tried to think of some weird emotional reason to lock his vote on me. But I know those two wouldn't have hatched this plan together. So I'm thinking if they had an experienced third that would come up with this it could be possible. IDK who though.
Real quick as I finish my mid afternoon day off corn before going to post office: You, Jaz or Dan are having the time of your lives in mafia chat with JTR and Jortles heading for a sweep and figure either Thor will miss a vote or I'm an easy target for a fake reveal and some fun on your end

JTR's mafia teammate(s) will not allow him to be lynched. The rest of town won't allow him to be lynched because they want to see the whack.
JTR has guaranteed himself a day 2 survival because of this move considering we don't have a very suspicious town.
Kanye would be the only shot of both of us surviving at this point. I know there is a possibility that you are mafia in this fake reveal, but our predicaments from the view of the rest of town are pretty much the same right now.

I wanted a three person runoff. After Thor's vote. The only way to achieve that was for me to go to carini and for carini to go to kanye. Thought carini would have seen that as well, but he is allowing his emotion (JTR's reveal including him) to overcome his rationality. It is a shame, but if he doesn't move I plan to move over to Kanye.
