I recognize that it is absolutely unacceptable but on the rare occasion that I've eaten at Outback I have very much enjoyed their blue cheese crumble melted on steak. (I'm a monster, I know.)

This seems like a good time to mention that my sister-in-law continues to put ketchup on filet mignon. I try not to give her a lot of shit for it because who am I to try to stop someone from doing something she enjoys, but also, it’s ketchup on filet mignon.
If I could drink Demi-glacé, I would. That shit is good on everything and anything.
Time-consuming to make but worth it.
Yeah. I think to do it right takes 2 or 3 days. It’s probably my favorite steak sauce. Lots of people like bernaise or sizzling butter and herbs. But nothing holds a candle to Demi-glace. Every once in a while someone will grant us a pint or two which gets used to enrich anything until it runs out. I’ve never taken the time to roast off bones and shit.

I know ketchup is considered a garbage condiment, but it does go well with certain things. Burgers, fries, hot dogs. It's considered borderline blasphemy, but hot wieners are pretty good with (meat) sauce and ketchup.
Filet however - if you need ketchup, you are doing filet wrong.
For the record, the "proper" way to do hot wieners is "all the way": (meat) sauce, mustard, onion, celery salt
Is (meat) sauce similar to chili?
The best way I can describe it is, basically its ground hamburg mixed with tomato paste and mild seasoning. It's not spicy and there's no diced tomato.

Meatloaf is a good thing to put ketchup on. I'm not even nuts about it on burgers though. Mayo and mustard seem much more important to me, as far as wetting a burger.
I don't like mayonnaise, and I only sometimes like mustard (higher end varieties, stone ground and shit). I'll go with ketchup or bbq sauce sometimes on a burger, but if the meet is juicy and the vegetables fresh, it's wet enough for me. As for ketchup on meatloaf, we don't really eat meatloaf very often (once or twice a year if that). But mushroom soup, marinara or almost anything thick can go on top of it if you're topping it.
Has anyone had Wendy's breakfast yet? Looks pretty trill. They have croissandwiches.
It's OK, but I liked old Wendy's breakfast better. College I went to had a 24 hour Wendy's back when they did breakfast a few year ago. The artisan egg sandwich they had on focaccia with hollandaise was amazing.
Our favorite Chinese place opened up for drive through service after being shut down since March! I missed it so much.
Ours opened a month ago and then had a thing with doordash before the pandemic but now you have to order directly and pickup. Which really only means if I'm ordering delivery I'm not ordering Chinese.
