lol idk, pretty Italian food upbringing, ziti/penne/rigatoni should probably be combined, but my GMA leaned Ziti for the most part, and the ability to be stuffed puts it over penne/rig.
a perfect ravioli is just too good though. the best parts of lasagna and ziti/shells without the disappointment of a bite not being completely full.
lasagna can just be super messy and if not done right you just end up eating sheet pasta and scooping meat sauce.
vermicelli is my go to cold noodle, love that shit
white rice isn't really my favorite but done right it's really versatile and it's grown on me
bad lasagna, bad rice is just bleh, rav is harder to fuck up unless the filling is ass, angel hair/fettu best for "I'm not great at this but whatever", hard to really blow

I like shells because they hold the sauce the way you think ziti or rigatoni are going to but really don't. I do gumbo with shells instead of rice sometimes when I really want to carb out.
Gnocchi also is great. Yeah a ravioli or any stuffed pasta is the best but among like macaroni pasta shapes you buy in a bag or box shells are boss.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
i was surprised with an ooni pizza oven for my birthday and we tested it out for dinner. absolutely charred and destroyed the first attempt, but the second was crispy and deeeelicious. definitely looking forward to playing around with my dough recipe and adding toppings next time.

I don’t generally like ricotta either. Nor do I like pecorino romano. I don’t even eat cheese except the mildest of the mild shit. But if not OD’d, I like those bites in lasagna.
Unreal how good the truffles are. The crunchy outside/gooey inside is perfect, and the sprinkles, which I usually find distracting in frosting, work perfectly here. 10/10. Haven't gotten to the cookies, but of course I will rank all of them.

Milk Bar cake truffles might be my favorite treat on planet earth. I've tried four different flavors... regular b-day, chocolate b-day, red velvet and strawberry shortcake. All magical.

I want an Ooni SO BAD. You're making me very jealous. I plan on making homemade pizza this weekend but no chance it will look that good.
