also fucking killed it on sunday with some tacos and tequila. friend brought over some dough for tortillas and even more tequila which we dont need. i made 4 different salsa's and some carne asada which needs some refining and roommate slow cooked some pork. hopefully gonna team up with the neighbors for a massive mexican food fiesta soon

Not specific recipes, but I like both of those spiced and grilled or roasted. I don't like squash to turn into squish. They'd probably be bomb to pickle since you have an abundant crop.

I think I will set up a table this weekend on the Devil Strip too. Maybe give away some green tomatoes, zucchini and herbs. Green tomato pie and fried greenies are the bomb too. But one can only eat so much. Not sure why I keep doing this to myself without securing a stand to get rid of them first.

It is only Akron who calls it a Devil Strip here, however. Go a town over and it is a tree lawn or curb.

If you are a fan of anise, I really like Sambuca. Served super chilled with a coffee bean in it, with some espresso as a kicker. Add a pastry, especially of the chocolate design. Like beignets with chocolate sauce or the like. Heaven.

Frangelico, Campari, Cointreau, St. Germain
Some of these are important. I'd add coffee liqueur as well. Those Italian mega-ingredient liqueurs like Campari or Amaro have a taste that doesn't sit well with everyone. They make a lot of other weird stuff too like Galliano (added to a screwdriver to make a Harvey Wallbanger which basically tastes like medicine in a drink but delicious as a cake). As far as mixers, skip the fake shit like plastic squeeze lemon or lime shaped squeeze bottles of "juice concentrate", low-end cans or bottles of juice and the like. If you don't make your own juices (which I do, but I don't think many people do), just buy better quality stuff when you need something for specific roostatails. Lemons and limes are cheap and usually easy to get when you need them. But at least have a hand juicer in case you want to make something with orange juice. Fresh squeezed > *.
Double check your mixes to make sure that they don't require refrigeration. Nothing like an old bottle of some ingredient to ruin drinks.
I'd learn how to make simple syrup as that's a very key ingredient in so many drinks. You'll also need to get some grenadine. Garnishes are a must too (some drinks call for Olives, Pearl Onions and whatever). So you need those kinds of things.

I have never done chocolate, but since you mentioned it, I just found a low-carb chocolate zucchini bread recipe that I think I am going to try. I'll save the parmesan one for a lil cheat day because it looks fabulous
