But I really am only leaning Town on Kanye and Agarr right now. I am fine with what is happening so far depending on the last 2 votes.
Why do you lean town for Agarr?
I can't break the feeling that he should be more into this game. Based on my observations of him on the board over the last couple months. And I think he isn't involved because he's genuinely lost. I think mafia would have at least told him to get his post count up a bit halfway through day 1.

Kudos to JR for posting Jaz's posts and saving me from a full read through. Like I mentioned last night I'm torn between the obvious (Pable) and someone that Jaz potentially left crumbs about. I'm going to start with the crumbs. Why would Jaz waste 2 posts about Dan's hat? Could be just in case he wasn't around in day 2.

I mean this not to hurt my own case but for the sake of transparency - my board activity trends are more a product of my free time. Classes are just now picking up for me, whereas immediately before and after the Roo lineup drop, I was off. Also explains why I’m still yet to complete my toki band-a-day lol.
But also, I was pretty lost until like today. I’ll try to be as active as I can moving forward, but I’m only gonna get more swamped most likely.

As weird as this is, I pegged you for someone that would be interested in this game because of how into the roo speculation and analysis youve been the last couple years, and this was highlighted by you posting The Other Stage lineups for the last three years to ask people which they thought was the best. Just seemed like you have a similar addictive personality when you lock in on something (similar to me), and I think if you were mafia and the stakes were that much higher you would have found time to think much more carefully about the game.
Can’t say I’m all that confident about it, but my current suspicions of JR currently outweigh those of Danbob & Kanye. Some of Dan’s comments also put Carini on my radar but not to that great an extent.

Yeah as I said I lean town on him. I just caution putting too much stock in indirect evidence for someone being town - this game has broken my heart many times when I’ve done it.

You don't see his vote switch that I keep referencing as the best evidence you could possibly have right now? Look at his switch on page 7. It's the exact switch that I made last game that ended up fucking us, and on top of that it saved the Mafia's whack. Nothing is 100%, but again if Kanye has played this wildly and made that move in particular... then bravo to him. But I sincerely doubt it.
I've missed your coaching
As I said, you make a valid point here and I don't discount it completely, but I suspect you may overestimate people's ability to learn from other's mistakes. History repeats in mafia, even when you think it won't.
So if things stay as they are, is the next round typically kind of weird? Only need 2 votes and not all 3?
I was thinking this too. I don’t want to make a big argument here but if we had a 4 person initial runoff then there’s only two people voting and we go from that 4 person runoff to a two. It’d be cleaner that way. But as I type this I’m thinking seeing the switches that would have to happen if it stays the way it is now could be useful information to have.

I definitely see voting for me. Town's only known variables so far this game are that themselves and Jaz are town. That's all I know for sure, but I'll share some other thoughts in another post. (I have back to back to back meetings starting in 5 minutes and not sure how involved I'll have to be in them.)
My response to those voting for me:
ZIG's theory makes sense. I tried to get Potent involved while I was drinking late at night, not long after I switched off of him. Okay, weird. In my defense (vets should be able to vouch for me on this, at least) when I'm mafia I never try to save a fellow mafia mate who got themselves into hot water. I've actually killed fellow mafia. There was a game where ZIG himself said there was no way LD and I were mafia together when we were, because I was hell bent on killing him (and vice versa). As mafia, I will not pull another mafia out of a runoff, typically not even if I think I can get away with it.
Also, I did mention my thoughts about Jaz soon after the whack. That seems a little amateurish to do as mafia after I've played 20+ games. Maybe it was dumb of me as town not to think how town would view me for saying it.

I'll try to digress from self defense posts, they often end up working on mafia's behalf, especially when mafia or disgruntled townies keep poking and the person keeps defending.
I understand town voting for me at this point. Some evidence is better than nothing.

I think moving to 4 will make it easier for Mafia to slip out. Similar argument to 5 in the first round, because there is only one vote left, not two.

How can you classify what I said as deceitful? It's purely evidence based, whether that evidence be circumstantial or not it's still evidence. Why would I try to eliminate someone I thought was town? Why would I be trying to deceive my fellow townies? It's a theory I just put out to see if other people agreed or saw what I saw. My vote isn't even on you so you can stop playing the victim. I have been very helpful in day 2 and like to think I haven't been too annoying. I understand how my actions in day 1 could.be portrayed as garbage but it's day 1 and everyone (myself included) tries to grasp at straws.
Maybe it's too close to home, so Kanye taking my very obviously weak comments and saying they are strong comments seems more deceitful to me than to anyone else. I'm not sold on him being mafia, but if not, he's a very disappointing townie. So outside that, my strongest hunch is that I do think that there is mafia between Agarr and Pablo. I'll put my reasoning to text at some point today.

I'd do the same thing if I saw it and I wasn't involved. You can't like posts, so people do it with posts. Fine, at least it's obvious. But people outside the game cannot imply that they think someone in the game is mafia. That's cheating.
Until this point I was playing the game. I was never upset. I do think you played badly if you're town, but it wasn't an emotional thing.
I am vanilla town. I'm done.
My guess without confidence is that ZIG, Agarrr and Dan are mafia.
ZIG slipped hints in, then slipped back out, that seemed unusual for him. Agarrr stayed quiet, then added a long thought out post, that is common of mafia, but I also believe that he has been busy. So I don't know. Dan is mafia because don't have a read on anyone else and he's the best player left.
Jortles is town, if not, he's oustanding mafia.
JR > NULL locked until I am dead or until Jaz calls the game off for cheating.

For what it's worth I didn't read tainteds post as him saying you were mafia. I read it as him finding my joke funny. Last game jortles called me bad town and he was Mafia, so I was just memeing. And like I've said a thousand times before my vote isnt even on you

Your post was fine, but it did imply I was mafia. Outside sources cannot like a post that implies a player's role, joke or not.
