Flacco is getting the beatdown. He’s been known to sometimes hold the ball late in the pocket. He’s got it to Sutton a couple times, but he needs better protection. Hopefully Mahomes’ knee injury will only keep him out this game.
Oh and hey Deshaun, even if you did have a claim on being the best QB in the league, which you don’t. Drew Brees will be back soon.
Early 4th quarter edit is to say this isn’t the first prime time game where we have witnessed dismal offensive football. The Broncos O looks like a semi pro team
Michael Thomas is 26 catches away from the record of 400 in any receiver’s first 4 years. I think I said he’d break it around game 10, but I couldn’t find that post. It’s going to be close. Saints have kicked ass against the spread in October like 14-1 last 15. But it would be hard to pass up the Bears -3.5 or 4 with Brees, Kamara and Cook all out. Bears haven’t beaten us since like 2008, but idk. Fan side says the Saints should win. But if money was on the line it would be tough to bet on them. Under looks reasonable, but at 37 you never know. You’d think it was going to be a defensive battle, but ? ? ?
This bears offense is absolutely lost. They stink.
We are a solid D but maybe not this good. Saints have made a shit load of mistakes from giving up that return TD to Patterson, and having the penalty on Harris’ return as well as Lutz missing to FGs.

Woeful effort by the Eagles so far. It’s not like the Cowboys are that good. No. They have a lot of talent, but they are pretty mediocre. And they have you 30-10. I’d be embarrassed.
Things tend to get embarrassing when you turn the ball over four times.
Good to have Coop, Gallup and Tyron all on the field. Sucks LVE and Quinn are now hurt.
Btw, esteban, yall beat us by two. At home.
It doesn’t matter how we won. Money was on you, and we were the underdog. We are up 2.5 on you for the conference too. We didn’t have our leader, and our offense is not very consistent without him. But we win.

Yeah, it's too bad yall didn't have Brees, considering we beat you guys with him last year. Pretty sure you were the favorites that time.
Wish he had played this time. Maybe he's the weak link.
Point is, maybe we're not that shitty of a team. Maybe your team is only two whole points better than us on your own home field. Home field is generally considered as worth three points in the NFL. Maybe we're actually better than you and you should calm your tits.
Why punk out? The post was a slap at Eagles fans. That was a very poor showing. You are mad for some reason. The saints had nothing to do with my comment. You brought them in. If you want to compare Saints v Cowboys beyond the 2 point win without Brees, okay. I’d submit we are better with him than without him.

The post was about how ashamed the Eagles should be to get wrecked by my team. Not the highest compliment, exactly.
I mean, fuck the Eagles and all, but that was the biggest whupping we've put on them in a decade or something. Maybe the tiniest amount of respect could be put on the Cowboys. Once the team acquired Amari last year, they were one of the best teams in football. They're better than "mediocre" with him and the rest of their team at close to full-strength.
I didn’t downplay the margin of victory. You weren’t a 27 point favorite. You kicked their ass in a divisional game. The division is clearly between the Cowboys and Eagles, and that win puts you in better position. Close to half the games have been played (7 for most teams). What would you say were the chances 2 teams come out the NFC East? I’d give it less than 5%.
To cut through any perceived bullshit though, you have lost to the Bucs, Saints, Jets and Packers. You beat Eagles, Dolphins and Redskins. We have won 5 straight including 2 wins on the road against 2018 playoff teams and 1 2018 playoff team at home without Drew Brees. I like our chances of having a better season than the Cowboys. I think when the odds come out Tuesday, your chances for reaching the playoffs will go up.
a Cowboys/Saints Divisional Round rematch would be really fun.
I agree. DeMarcus Lawrence talked all that shit last year and more or less backed it up. We went into the 2019 Cowboys game with the mindset that we had to be the more aggressive team as otherwise the players had to relive all the bullshit they heard after last year's loss to the Cowboys (they were the more aggressive/physical team, etc.) which they were determined was not going to be repeated. It wasn't though as Pablo noted, it was a very hard fought and close game that ended 12-10 and could have gone a lot of different ways. And we probably have a reasonable shot at a second game this season.
Pablo,
From the comment yesterday, DVOA (Footbal Outsiders) is giving you all a 54.3% chance of taking the #4 and 71.2% to win the division after last night's victory. That can and will change throughout the season, but the Eagles are the only competition for the division title. They currently have a 31.4% chance of making the playoffs (Cowboys are at 73.9%). www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/playoffodds
I don't usually follow Playoff Status.com, but they look to have pretty similar odds at this point showing the Cowboys with the 15th best shot to get to Round 1 of the playoffs (55%) and 15th to get to the Super Bowl (3%) www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/nflpostseasonprob.html

I didn’t appreciate how dire the Bengals situation is until watching yesterday. We executed so poorly.... 4 redzone trips that amounted to 9 points and us being down 1 late in the game. Dalton totally melted down and threw what felt like 3 straight picks included a lobbed pick six to a lineman. None of the picks were acrobatic or impressive. Dalton just totally crumbled.
Our next 4 are Jets, Texans, Colts, Titans (our entire division there). We’d probably need to at least 3-1 this stretch but maybe sweep it for a chance to go to the playoffs in my mind. And that isn’t likely.
