Titans at 5-5 are pretty middle of the pack. 3-2 home record, 2-3 away I think, only a few points more for than against last I checked. I think they're ahead of the Jags and Chargers in the AFC and around the Eagles/Bears/Panthers in the NFC (obviously all those teams have near .500 records). Panthers could end up being a Bottom 10 team before the season is over, but I look at them to pick up another couple wins and probably finish things off around 7-9/8-8. JMO
Looks like kind of a big game tonight for the Houston Texans. It's not the end of the world for either the wildcard or the division if they lose, but it's going to be a challenge to make up 2 games on the Colts with only 5 to go and a game with the Patriots and 2 with the Titans left to go.
One of those not that solid of a win but avoided bad loss games. Good to see Hopkins make some plays, this is only the fifth game he's scored this season. His final numbers will still look good but I haven't felt like he's been as dangerous.
You know how some division games can go. Texans needed a shot in the arm with New England coming in next Sunday night. I'm sure you also saw the graphic NFL ran during the game where being 6-5 is < 50% shot at making playoffs whereas 7-4 was 60-something. I felt like both Hopkins and Fuller played pretty well last night.
Fuck the fucking Panthers. No one has run for 100 on us since Perine did it for the skins November 17 which was a little more than 2 years ago. I’d expect McCaffrey to come away with about 130 or so total yards from scrimmage because you can’t fully stop him. But I hope we keep him under 100 rushing.
Saints are giving up 10 points and the money line has the Panthers +400 and Saints -400. I want to kick their ass twice in the same game but gun to the head choice I’d take the saints to win but take the Panthers +10 in a divisional game.

You should be though there were no excuses today. Clearly we aren’t gods gift to football. We are just good. And our magic number is 1.
Yeah my only relief in all this is knowing I'm not a saints fan having to look over my shoulder for the next reality check from a shitty team. A win is a win, so there is that. The cost of that win is your fanbase is split between hating the refs, hating the play calling, and a small fraction accepting the reality that winning the south for 3 years consecutive is likely the climax of this season.
Still, I'd like it if we had that banner instead. Don't mind me, just grieving the end of my season in November..

I still don’t have a gambling app but stopped at a sports book to collect my Nationals 20-1 to win it all future bet. Played two four teamers with a portion of my winnings and cashed those today too with one parlay including the Panthers +9.5. Got really lucky with both Pats and Steelers picking up late first downs but not scoring to kill the game clocks when TD or FG would have toasted the spread. I must have drank too much in Btown this weekend to be betting on Bengals but that Steeler offense is just awful.

Conceptually, I wouldn’t be against the idea of being fired myself in a total clean sweep of the entire organization just to be absolutely certain that the funk has been removed from this stadium. Ticket sales, accountants, mascot, janitors, concessionaire... pressure wash the whole fucking building and start over. You can’t try to be surgical and fire the exact 2-3 humans and think you’re assessment of the problem will be perfect.

The problem is Doug Marrone.
He is one problem among many and it isn't worth it to get cocky and think anyone knows where the exact issue lies. Clean house to make sure.

Probably was over his Datsik T-shirt. About 4 or 5 years ago I ran into this cat at voodoo with a Darren Sharper Jersey. I went over and told him that I usually am in a tasteless costume but breaking out the Sharper jersey was probably past my line. He was like, “dude. You’re the only one who got it all day.” I guess it’s okay to have a scary Halloween costume. It also reminds me of my buddy Ced who once ran into Sharper late night at F&M or Snake and Jakes picking up white girls and opined on another forum about how he was happy they were both doing the same thing with the same objective. Maybe not. Haha
