Checked in just before 8 and saw there was a runoff. I think I'd rather Potent be in it, but I don't know jack so no need for me to move. I did say that I would move if needed for a runoff... and I think it was clear who I would have moved to.
I'm about to leave work so I can't type up much. I just want to note that I'm okay with my vote where it is - I think Zolah has been significantly quieter than usual - but I will move if need be. Also SFA I had considered calling you out as quiet before Kanye did. Then I looked and realized the game hadn't been going on for that long, it just seemed like it had been a while because there was a lot of activity between the same few players - made a lot of others look quiet in comparison. Just wanted to put that out there.

I am significantly quieter than usual. My last game was over year ago and it was such a mess that the game after didn't fill for 4 months.
Not much to say other than I really urge the quiet people to do some talking. Hopefully they will add to the discussion day 2 but their silence is very troubling.
Also I think it's fair to say that no matter what happens, jortles will think the 5 person runoff is great. This experiment has been fun but I don't think it's the way to go in the future.
I'm happy with having a revote in the next round especially since I'm in the runoff and that should almost guarantee my survival unless there are some vote switches. I don't know why I'm the only one that sees potent's frantic vote switching as alarming but it's whatever. I'll probably have a long stream of consciousness coming after the round closes regarding Zolah vs SFA

I didn't want Potent to move forward. I sort of regretted my quickness to stack him after thinking about it. However, I'm not even going to lie, I didn't move my vote yesterday, because my options were Zolah or Kanye, leaving Kanye an open vote. If I moved to Zolah, Kanye only had me (or himself) to move to. If I moved to Kanye, I'm basically asking for a retaliation.
I also noticed Zolah is quiet, but I also know she's been reluctant to play and is probably, regardless of role, avoiding confrontation.
LLL is also quiet. Maybe for similar reasons to Zolah. When she stopping playing in the past it was at least partially because she felt like girls got extra scrutinized. It's like the scene in Eurotrip where there's only one girl on the nude beech and all the guys swarm her... Weird analogy, since all of us (except Kanye, probably) are wearing clothes right now.

Do you find SFA's slip more important than JR's? I mean both were at 3 votes at some point. I am also interested in getting JR into the runoff but I don't see a reason to switch off you yet

No reason for me to find either more important at this point. It brings up the aspect of the 5 way that will be fun to watch in later rounds though - which of the two who slip out of the D1 runoff should be viewed as more important? That's probably a point in favor of the 4 way on D1.

I think the point I'm trying to make is that JR hasn't dropped out of the runoff. He has no votes, but he's still an option for someone to vote for until the round closes. I would keep him in the tally with 0 votes until the round is over.

2. It wasn't after the posted deadline. It was like 10-15 minutes before 10 am. I don't think JTR would have allowed a switch after the deadline, and I wouldn't have done that. If I'm missing something and it was in fact after the deadline, I think my switch shouldn't be allowed.
3. I get that you don't like being lynched day 1. However, I am growing uncomfortable with the amount of support your emotional / charitable concept is receiving here in D1R2. I was the first to recognize that your thought there was interesting, but after thinking about it more, it only makes sense to me on D1R1. This is a game of randomness. I moved off of SFA because I wanted two votes from people not included in the runoff, and it had absolutely nothing to do with me feeling bad for potentially lynching someone who hasn't played in a while because I want them to keep playing with us.

This is at your discretion. As ref I've done it before and been asked to remove it. Potent's asking you to include the person with 0 votes. It's totally up to you to weigh the potential pros and cons.

You are right, the deadline was 10am, I assume it was 9am like it was earlier in the game.

The move is fine in itself. Revotes could easily be something easy for mafia to hide behind, but I’m glad to see LLL will have to give some more input.

Here's something else of note: ever since NoAge's vote (the last person to vote), every vote switch since has involved Kanye, Jortles, or Potent.
Unless you are talking tangential effects, Dan and SFA both switched votes this round, neither was on your mentioned troika or moved to your mentioned troika.
