Aside from Jambinai, which was a pleasant surprise, yesterday's streaming schedule was pretty backloaded. There was more I wanted to see last night compared to Friday night. I doubt I'll be able to see Christine's set without someone putting it up somewhere, but she's at BC next month anyway.
Tonight is pretty weak yeah. Hoping to see Pusha T and some Alice Merton. Would like to see Kaytranada and YG, but it's doubtful. Kinda thankful it's weak, so I don't have to deal with FOMO.
Calypso Rose was great, as was FKJ. Major Lazer came out with Calypso

Catching up to Jambinai on the replay and they’re fantastic. I saw them in 2015 open for Oh Sees the Monday after Primavera, it’s great to see them get this sort of recognition.
Huge props to Coachella for booking such a diverse lineup. Is there any other festival that can boast having one of the biggest K-pop bands and one of the best experimental bands from Korea?
i think i would give all of our EDM up for Parcels on the Roo line up.
Edit: i know they're not EDM i'm just saying what i want to give up to get them on the Roo Line up
Dragon Energy got me on that set and it was dank. Despite the set list criticism, I felt like Tame Impala was borderline incredible. And along with the massive Coachella stage production, almost ridiculous. Childish was great too so far. Only thing I really didn’t like was Jauz but that’s not a surprise. I liked Hurray for the Riff Raff, Peggy, Kacey, Kruangabin and Janelle on Friday and CloZee, Bob Moses, Four Tet, Weezer, Parcels Little Simz and part of Bassnectar they showed on Saturday. I didnt find it to be particularly weak but I understand some of the complaints. I gotta work tomorrow so I’m only going to make it to Chvrches tonight. Gonna try Alice, Pusha-T, Rico Nasty, UMO, Carti, lizzo, Gesteffelstein, YG and Chvrches tonight.
Why hasn't Janelle made the jump to Headliner yet? She never doesn't bring it. And i would say has put out a good string of records. I think i would honestly take her as a headliner.
Watched a bit of Christine and the Queens last night and I'm in love. Hoping to watch Billie later today. Listening to the Mansionair set while I'm at work today and hoping to catch Khalid too. His tickets go on presale today and his set airs before the presale starts, so that'll play a part in if i go for tickets or not.

Her neo-soul/new R&B is unique enough that she’s liable to stay a sub or sub-sub act that draws large crowds and rave reviews of all performances. She certainly brings all she has and is one of the more talented performers of today. Like you, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. But she’s probably going to peak in the 6-10 range at most multi-genre festivals though she’s capable of blowing away headliners. Just IMHO
Also, my favorite act on the lineup this year was Chon who unfortunately they did not stream. They ended up bringing Kenny G out. Haha I’m not a Kenny G fan at all, but it’s not like he can’t play. But he’s more elevator-style where they cross a lot of jazz fusion. So still a cool and notable collaboration.

Pusha should have a later set, but he’s so much better than all this era’s mumble shit and auto tuned shit. If you can rap, rap. Ready for Rico again after this.

Rico brought out Kenny Beats (90% sure) in a pink wig and some metal chick guitarist I feel like I should know to end the set. UMO sounds good as expected. Nice to see them getting the push this year. I’m wanting to see Carti because he closed Buku Friday vs RL (which I split those), but it’s a blur - all I can remember is I liked both. Haha. Ima try to catch some after UMO
Oh shit. Carti going. Haha. Also looks like they added zedd to channel 1. I don’t need to see it but if anyone is a fan
Yeah it’s wild but my half sober this time criticism is too many gunshot endings and a lot of wasted time. You gotta recover, but I think he might be rolling. His eyes were tunnels
Gonna have to check in on blood orange adulterous this set and then lizzo. I’m glad she became a star.
