I’ve got some friends who are semi excited about this I think we just all agree it’s better then last year still not the best but since we’re pretty close to being local we can go and have fun again. If i had to travel for this no way and Cage the Elephant is one of my favorite bands.
Not too big on the leak, but I’d agree that it’s probably somewhat improved. If the Chili Peppers maybe played much of any shit I wanted to listen to, sure. And Lana was pretty good when I saw her. Cage is always a good time live, and parts of RLs sets are usually good. Otherwise Megan, Moon Taxi, RKS, H&H should be good. Oliver Tree is always worth a pass by. I don’t know Kane Brown and don’t really care for the majority of the rest of the lineup. I think maybe people who are local and can find discounted tickets ought to be able to see a couple okay to cool shows a day. Idk. I think Okee is way superior for around that size festival If maybe a little smaller.
We won’t be back and weren’t planning on it anyway. I’m going to wait for Bonnaroos lineup to come out and see if maybe that’s what I want to do between jazz fest and ACL. A trip back to Mulberry isn’t out of the question either depending on the lineup. If neither inspire me to attend, I’ll figure out something else. Maybe Bourbon and Beyond or something ?

Has a festival ever taken such a hard left turn from what it started as? Literally not one jam or roots act on this lineup. However, if you’re looking to attract the 14-24yo market then this is a home run.
Some radio pop, classic rock, pop-country, basic EDM, couple meme rappers...looks like a college spring break playlist. I’d say they succeeded in appealing to their demo.
I agree not seeing what’s making this better then last two years.
Edit: looked again, it was the Mello.
For me personally Travis and Cardi are 2 of my least favorite in hip hop. I actually like post Malone as a casual fan, RHCP i like a lot even tho I’ve seen them. Lumineers i like but didn’t consider a headliner but were #2 and for a pop artist Billie isn’t the worse also would’ve rather had a band tho like black keys or tame but still better then Khalid to me as well. Lana I’m not a huge fan but i still think looks better in a lineup then the others from last year as well.
Buuuut this lineup has still taken a hard left turn from what it use to be and far from good. Yeah Esteban since I’m closer there’s enough shows I’m sure i can go to this close and enjoy a few sets of each day. Pretty much all the ones you named though.

I still wanna look at Boston callings full lineup with potential to take a trip there and just spend the money instead of saving or maybe do shakey just In the middle of some big finances first part of the year so hangout would be easy to make and go back to LIB this year. If i do go to hangout and this is legit so far would see: RHCP, Post Malone, Cage, RKS, THatH, moon taxi, Oliver tree, t-pain, wallows, my joy, and Orville peck just off looking.
They had missio on there too. They kind of caught my interest last month when I caught their last couple of songs. I walked by blind, and it seemed to be on the more freakier side of shit. Maybe I’m wrong and it was just that part of the show?
It's really hard to believe this is the lineup that brings be back, but it's about 90% certain. My group in 2015 have been wanting to return, but I've been stubborn and rejected what Hangout has brought, getting worse every year. And overall, this may only be better than last year's.
Post and all the EDM wins my friends, Billie and Lana wins my wife, and RHCP for me, as they have somehow eluded me forever. I guess I can finally cross them off on the beach.
I hope the official poster has the daily breakdown, it will really suck if this is the year they suddenly stop. I need to know the days so I can plan when to get in and when to jet.
Marshmello is the only one that would make sense for Lana to be ahead of. Billie and Post sell out arenas and the resale market for their tickets is outrageous. Lana plays venues half that size.
Whoa, I turn my back for a minute to grab some turkey and a lineup gets leaked.
If this is what drops this week, glad I called RHCP-Billie-Post. I was WAAAYY off on the mid card but did get a few of those random undercard acts. Yay mocks.
I never had any plans to go to this thing other than basic curiosity since I’ve never been to the Gulf. This lineup sure as hell doesn’t pull me there from DC but I’d imagine this would sell really well within its own market. Excluding RHCP, four headliners are the biggest names in that angsty lane of young adults straddling millennials and the beginning of Gen Z. (Post-Billie-Lana-Marsh-RHCP might actually sound better to some within that demo since RHCP kinda sticks out in this group.)
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide
There were 6 acts I liked last year and 8 if this is accurate. The only act here I haven’t seen is RHCP. There is nothing unique or even like a cool get even on a low level. Nice to see Elderbrook though. Check him out he’s similar to Robert DeLong with the do it all on stage show.
