Welp here is the hail mary, lets hope it gets caught.
I think it's Whitmer or Shapiro for VP, another rust belt person
doubtful on either of them. Both just started new terms as governor that end 1 year before the next election. Whitmer absolutely won’t, I had to fucking look up Shapiro (gov of PA) so that’s a no.

. Seen Andy Beshear come up a lot.
Yeah he seems like he has to be a big target. Dem governors seem to be the better batch of candidates.
I can’t see Newsom being a VP.
2 years ago I’d have said Fetterman (age 54) or kinda Corey Booker (age 55). That’s really it for young Senators though.
If it’s Kamala, then she’s gonna need a Biden type running mate. Blue collar looking straight white dude. Probably a Roy Cooper.
Is Cooper running for election this year?
Cooper's term limited, so he's out either way. Because of that and the fact that NC is a seriously important state-level election this year I tend to think he's the best option to run with Kamala, and they were campaigning together recently.

Officially endorsed Kamala, which is the right move at this point. She was going to get the nomination either way, better to unite the party ASAP and get the ball rolling

Kind of sad that this is going to overshadow Aaron Sorkin's horrible NYT op-ed today suggesting they nominate Mitt Romney. There would've been so many great dunks on that piece.

Okay, we have a path forward. Now it's up to the Democrats to fuck this up. Let's hope they now come together and start to get their shit together. Come on guys

That is a terrible take, although Romney as a 3rd party candidate would be a spoiler for a lot of potential reluctant trump votes
I know. But it had to happen. I think Biden is actually worse off than any of us know. He was NOT going to win. At least now we have a snowballs chance in hell.
