And here comes what we all knew was inevitable (especially after that July video call leak) - RFK will bow down and kiss Trump's ring in order to get a spot in his cabinet. For him it was ALWAYS about helping the orange asshat, while screwing over the Democrats. This worm-infested fuckhead can kick rocks.

I'm not overly concerned with RFK dropping out. He wasn't going to make it on the ballot in a ton of states anyhow; his base of support seems like primarily double-haters (who came home to the dems when the candidate they hated dropped out, but won't get the same chance with the GOP). Trump will pick up a little support, and yes, every vote matters this year, but the energy is best spent elsewhere than getting scared/frustrated/angry about it.

True that. I myself just loathe RFK, but I'm not worried about him dropping out. I agree with your take - Trump will most likely see just a minor bump up, and I doubt it'll be anything too significant.
Letting Bill Clinton speak is definitely the biggest fumble of the Kamala campaign.
Why are we letting him roast trump? At least we now know what the Comedy Central roast of Jeff Epstien would have looked like
If this is the biggest fumble they're doing pretty well. Emotionally I agree with you, but realistically: Bill Clinton is still beloved, he's a great speaker, he's a former president, and he's essentially guaranteed to get good reviews (I'm watching on ABC and there, at least: confirmed, great reviews). Clinton speaking won't hurt the campaign at all just as it didn't hurt Biden in 2020; it happened, it's done, it will not really be talked about much from here.

They probably knew it would get the most criticism and thats why he was tonight which doesnt have much going on anyway. Yeah, Oprah is great and all but its hard to follow Michelle and Barack last night. And yeah, former president thats still well liked. If they couldve gotten Jimmy Carter out there they mightve done that instead. Its not like they had W speak at the RNC, that dude knows to stay the hell away. Im sure 45 will make some crack tomorrow about Clinton and say he wished he could do the same in the oval or something to that effect. Or mention the Epstein connection which would also implicate himself? He cant really win in this situation.
Gus Walz in tears pointing at the stage and yelling "that's my dad" made me cry my eyes out.
Seriously. Maybe it’s the parenthood, but I don’t remember ever feeling this much real emotion during an election, even 08.
I think I read he was adhd and non-verbal learning challenged or whatever. Not spectrum but parents dealing with the conditions and accepting their kid for who he is. Not much more can be badass.

I feel you. I saw a tik tok where someone was interviewing his daughter and he barges in with a huge smile on his face and starts rattling off; "She's social worker in Bozeman and she's a ski instructor at Big Sky!" He's just so proud of her. I have a daughter who's starting preschool next week, and it just really hit me in the feels hoping I can raise her right and do something similar in the future.
