I thought that I read that she said that she is going to continue to work to get Democrats elected in the state of Georgia. It didn't sound like she was going to run...at least my interpretation of it. I will see if I can find the article.
But Abrams quickly demurred again and said through a spokesman her “focus will not change: She will lead voter protection efforts in key states across the country, and make sure Democrats are successful in Georgia in 2020.”
Looks like Tomlinson and Terry are the best we can hope for right now. Please, sweet Jesus, not Amico. Ossoff would be lame as well, although name recognition might not be so bad.
Would be interesting to see if Terry runs on legalization. He could pull in some possible libertarian leaners and non-voters. The bad thing about him is Clarkston is very small. Unlike Tomlinson who's pretty well known in a 300,000 metro area.
I'm curious if it's not a bad idea to run with a one progressive and one somewhat moderate canidate. Could pull from a wider base who'd end up checking the box for both. Who fucking knows tho. People should obviously not get too excited in a presidential election year.
yeah but does he just like running for fun? Is it some weird dominatrix thing?
I think some of the centrists are wondering if there is a lane open once Biden collapses.
Probably why Harris started tracking center the last couple weeks.
As Pablo said, Delaney is a healthcare industry insider and has investments on the line. His whole deal is to trash M4A. Take at look at his big supporters. Lots of health industry money there.

Sure but that only work if he qualifies for the next debate, which he won’t.

Yeah, I know. I'm just speaking to why he's hanging around. He's got the money and as long as he's getting any attention he'll likely hang around. Maybe make one more push for the next debates I guess. And who's to say he hasn't pushed some folks away from M4A over the last two debates. I would assume he's fine licking Biden's boot. In fact, he looks like the type that enjoys it.
Which reminds me. Kinda sad to see Gillibrand go. I like her better than a lot of them but her campaign just never caught any traction at all.
The world as the banking industry and most boomers see it. Specifically the wording structure, and keying up parents against their own children; which is common us vs. them dichotomy well established from the 60's on. It's incredible how obvious it is they see the trends and instead of seeing their role in it, they establish barriers and set up propaganda that sets the young up as "finical leashes".
Propaganda is subversive, this is LinkedIn -- filled with those constantly searching for work and/or doing well enough to continually search for better opportunities quietly behind the scenes. It's the money Lebowski.

At this point I have so little faith that I feel like those calling for investigations into Ticketmaster/live Nation really are just signaling the lobbyists for TM/LN to fork over some more money to them. It's not about helping the public but lining their pockets.
Posting hoping people who lurk chip in 3 bucks or so. but TYT is going to have this climate debate whether the major networks like it or not. The higher money they raise the more they can break through a clause that causes them to have a town hall vs. a debate. But they raised 100,000 in 36hrs. The more contributed will cause a better a more relevant event speaking and debating climate change proposals.

I don't trust the system
Blumenthal likes to get in front of a camera, say he's trying to help the average person, then doesn't really do much afterwards.
Polling 1% or 65K unique donors across a handful of states.
The September debate ups it to 2% and 130K donors.
The depressing thing is that half of the candidates will probably qualify... then you just have one night with the same amount of people on stage instead of two.

Thank God they don't split it into two nights with 5 each. Would hate for people to miss whatever aimless nonsense they've usually got on at the time.
Also, Kamala's campaign boning things up yet again.
Which reminds me. Kinda sad to see Gillibrand go. I like her better than a lot of them but her campaign just never caught any traction at all.
Me too. It's kinda frustrating when there's nothing you can really do to get them into the next debate once you've donated.
I wonder how much her push for Franken to resign ultimately hurt her.
There was definitely some public pushback against it. The left can be just as tribal about that kind of stuff. As far as if that closed many doors to power I'm not sure?
Not sure if there's any connection but there was several articles about her having trouble getting endorsements on Wall St and other typical places for NY/NJ politicians. This was before she banned corporate donations, IIRC. So she started off with some legitimate setbacks.
Didn't Tulsi meet the criteria before it got switched up on her, or some such?
I've seen that claim but I don't think it's true. The thresholds were already set to be raised. I think people are misunderstanding that and thinking the DNC did it to spite her or something.
The main argument they do have is there were less qualifying polls this round and Tulsi did place high enough in a fair number of unaccepted polls. Even then, the DNC has given more time and expanded the number of accepted polls. ]
Ehhhh, at some point they've got to start narrowing this shit down.

I think her reaction is real but it was not actually trump. This was part of filming for the president show on comedy Central with Anthony atamunik.
I don't think this is scripted and feel she doesn't know the difference but we really can't be sure. It's a nice message but I wish he clarified it was a lookalike in the first tweet and not three or four tweets later. It feels cut specifically to be deceptive by not showing his face.
Funny moment and awesome kid but ultimately this is doesn't really add to anything except likes and retweets
