Stuff like this is why the system feels so utterly hopeless. No wonder the likes of Trump can win when the other party churns out disappointment after disappointment.

There's literally no "legal" form of entry to the country for those seeking asylum. That is identical to what Sarah Sanders or Sean Spicer would be saying.
Heading into election season, Amarillo state Sen. Kel Seliger says he feels like members of his own party might be using redistricting to oust him after years of tension with Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, a fellow Republican.

I'm at the point where I'm waiting for the vaccine deadlines to pass at all these corporations/organizations that have mandates (mine included) so that all those brave soles ready to lose their jobs in pursuit of liberty will be fired. I'm ready for all of them to talk proudly of their heroics while looking for new jobs. I have one of the cushiest jobs in the world - work from home permanently, have flex Fridays, work-life balance is great, decent healthcare coverage, lots of time off, etc. And a woman on my team with two children and genetic medical conditions is taking one for the team and refusing to get vaccinated so she is losing her job. And everyone else is just silently thinking "what a stupid fucking decision."
EDIT: her medical condition is in no way related to her decision to not get vaccinated. It’s just a reason I would think she’d want to have health insurance to cover. You know, like the health insurance provided at a discounted rate by our employer
