I probably won’t vote if they nominate someone as in support of the genocide as Biden. I get it might be immature to be a single voter issue in an important election, I just don’t have the stomach to vote for someone I find morally reprehensible, even if the alternative is a monster.
I get it, but things will be much worse overall if the too-old white man wins. For me, this isn't about loving the Dem candidate, it's about preventing an absolute monster from winning a second term, which is a must.

well the alternative called the israeli hostages "our hostages" and has completely indicated he is going completely end gaza but u do u
One presidential candidate could seal Ukraine's fate and promote chaos in Europe, if not the end of NATO and a wider war with Russia. And he's called himself the greatest friend Israel has ever had, so I don't see Gaza doing any better if Doucheald Drumpf is elected. I have issues with Harris and the Democratic party, too, but the felon winning would be disastrous on a whole different level.
Project 2025 is just a boogeyman talking point. Yall act like it’s absolutely to the letter happening on January 20, 2025.
Claiming that republicans are going after IVF is another boogeyman scare tactic.
Huh? They're telling us exactly what they want to do, and should they take the White House, they stand a good chance of flipping the Senate and retaining control of the House, and they already have the Supreme Court in their corner. There would be nothing to stop them, so this is far from just some bogeyman situation even if it doesn't all happen overnight in January.
I was reading some of the right wing comments about Kamala. Worse than I could imagine. Like if she runs with Pete they will be the blowjob ticket. Disgusting.

The people that still answer landlines bumped Kamala 4 points closer to trump.
Imagine what the people that don't answer landlines think
Trump has significantly over performed his polling in both presidential elections so I’m not sure I’d get overly optimistic on the basis of “the polling is skewed.” If the last two elections are any indication it’s skewed the other way.
Still a good thing to see positive movement, though.
My grandparents have one. Once, I locked myself out of my Airbnb in Knoxville. My phone was in the house, and my grandparents’ landline was the only phone number I actually knew.

Sure in 2016 he did (although within margin or error), but did he really overperform in 2020? Seemed like the polls were dead on that year. If anything polls have skewed towards him due to all the constant (until this week) uncertainty in the democrat camp.
I get why people in here wouldn't like him - he's not my favorite for sure - but the state GOP is terrified of him being the VP nominee and the impact that would have down ballot for Ds in our state. In a pretty purple state, the State Senate hasn't been D since I think 2006, and the State House went D in 2022 for the first time since 2010. There are lots of things that a fully unified legislature could do for a D governor in PA. Selfishly, I'd love that, especially knowing his weaker points (Gaza/zionism especially) would be tempered as VP.
Having worked in the space for 15 years now, imagining a better PA getting closer to a reality is really tantalizing to me.
Again, I understand why people wouldn't want Shapiro on the ticket.

I see this and raise you how Vance feels about women with cats and no children. It really is amazing Trump found somebody I like less than him to run with.
The polls are gonna be pretty meaningless for the next few weeks. I wouldn’t think about them all that hard.
The polls remind me of Joe Lunardi's bracketology. Check them 5 minutes before the CBS bracket reveal and they are 100% accurate. Any other time it's throwing darts in the dark

Biden was up 8.4% in 538's polling average the day of the election; he wound up winning the national vote by 4.5%. Trump overperformed by more in 2020 than 2016 (when 538's polling average had Clinton up 3.9% and she wound up winning by 2.1%).
It's a fool's errand to think he won't overperform polls again this year. We need to be up by 4% to feel remotely good.

Thank you. I now have a new status.
Let me know how it goes telling your husband you have to move to a one bedroom apartment in NYC.
