I haven’t been to Roo in the last three years. As I recall in the past, I received hang tags in the mail for RV camping. This year I waited until today to buy my GA RV, and of course they can’t mail me one, but they had me print a paper ticket with a bar code. Do I need to go to will call, or can I go directly to a toll booth? The ticket gives no clues.
aldous I would ASSUME you'd use it in place of the hang tag, but I would definitely call Front Gate to confirm. I've never done RV, just always have the window cling for camping. It has a barcode they scan on entry so I assume your printoff barcode would be what they need. Again, I would call. Rather be safe then sorry!

i have my wristband.
thanks,

This is my 1st year doing RV after 6 years of groop. I got the RV paper ticket as well even though I ordered it months ago. It does say exchange for RV tag ON SITE. Look for that statement on your paper ticket as it seems you would not have to do will call but will be able to exchange at toll booth. Looks like it would be easier for RVs in GA to enter west or highway toll booth but I assume you can enter any of the 3 if they route you to east instead??

Thanks for the tip about the best RV gates! On that, this is our 7th Roo and our companion car is coming much later than our RV CROO (we’re in 4 separate states). RVs are coming Wednesday evening, companion car coming early morning Thursday. Any tips on the best way to make sure they end up in the RV camping with us?

Without an RV pass they would have to park separately from y’all. You could share space at your personal campsite, but I have no idea what kinda limits they set on campsites.

No they won't, I've been a companion car to a RV the past 3 years. They will just have to have a regular car camping pass, then they'll just have to tell all of the parking volunteers that they are camping with an RV, so you'll have to give them good directions for them to easily find your RV...
They did away with the old 'companion car' pass that you could buy in the past for around $25, so now cars with RVs have to have just the regular car camping pass...
Anybody heard news about actual gate opening times? Exit 111 still open? Weather outlook for today looking better and better.
thesidebar just posted on FB that's he's heard 3:00...
Cool thanks. Just leaving Mursfreeboro in RV. Hope exit 111 is open so we can wait on new bushy branch road. Getting excited even tho it's number 7. Never arrived this early before.

Yikes. I got into line later than planned after an hour and a half at will call. Sitting on the side of 41 now, NW towards Asbury Rd and eventually the East toll booth. We're moving little by little but this is slow going. Didn't expect it to be this bad already.

We're scheduled to arrive at the line around 10:10pm, and we have the 10th anniversary Comedy Bang! Bang! pod queued up (which is 10 hours long). Beautiful coincidence!

Fuck that was the absolute worst line I have ever been in to get inside Bonnaroo. TN state troopers you can eat the remains left in the porto’s after the weekend.
And they better fuckin’ thank me when they’re done.
We arrived at 6am Thursday morning and went right in the interstate entrance with very little wait time. I guess we got super lucky.
Same!!! Drove from a hotel in Nashville and got there at 745am. We saw the Highway Entrance completely empty, and were like " We NEED to enter there." Well, after crossing one off those plastic median barriers, we did, and literally drove right in. But our camping spot sucked. We we by the Cell Phone Pole.
