I know that. I was asking how you got the conclusion that his mindset isn't self-preservation
If you read my post I asked how reciprocating votes is more indicative of self preservation than otherwise

I'm just saying with that logic everyone in the runoff right now is town lean for you. No one in this runoff right now is voting for people that voted for them.

It's odd that I'm about to be outright lynched and nothing is happening to change that. That probably means mafia is happy with me being lynched. My only option right now to save myself is to switch my vote off you onto jores to at least force another round. But then we lose a day, which hurts town. But also if I stay put I get lynched. Which also hurts town.

Wanted to make sure this happened before 9am tomorrow. Switching back to Pablo would have been boring. Been there done that this round. Also Kanye doesn’t get a revote this way.
Pretty soon I’d like to hear from the people who have quietly stayed on their original random vote from D1R1. Why are you staying there and not switching? We routinely let this slide without explanation.

I said last night I'd switch if I needed to preserve a runoff but I wanted to give it time to play out. Although I did think over who I'd switch to and I couldn't really think of a good reason for anyone. Need to read it over I guess but that basically the reason. You could make an argument that there is something Kanye being left out to dry all weekend. Seems like it could be a sign that mafia were fine with things going that way. But I've made this argument in the past and it doesn't seem to get much traction. In fact, people have pointed out that it could just be mafia being patient and waiting for others to switch votes around for them.
Basically, I'd just be switching for the sake of switching. I don't have a good argument to move, so if I did move you'd just have to "let that slide" too. Or get suspicious of me. Catch 22, I reckon.

I can argue why I want all of the 4 to advance so I have no need to change my initial random vote. Also I'm currently in a position that if I change I'm putting someone at risk of a straight lynch. If this stands 8 hours from now I'll have to figure shit out and you will get my thoughts there. Because of this I don't want to share anything further now so I don't influence any potential switches
