I know it isn't until April but not sure I see The Weeknd playing two shows at ACl and then coming back for an arena show. Maybe if the arena show is selling well.

Rage doesn’t have any TX shows scheduled outside of their first show at the border in El Paso. October is totally open as of right now. In this world, that likely means nothing, but in a normal year that leaves a hole open for ACL and Voodoo.

I found it weird that they didn’t really have any shows scheduled in cities like Austin, Dallas, NOLA, etc. Maybe I misinterpreted it, but I think someone said that they were gonna play ACL and Dia De Los Deftones last year? Or maybe they just had plans to do another leg, hitting those missed cities? Anyways, I’m curious to see whether they are on the lineup. I didn’t really have any expectations of them being on the LIB and OSL lineups because of Coachella.

part of me wants george strait to headline given that this is a Texas fest and it’s an anniversary year but the chances of that happening are super slim.
Only went once in 2017 and the crowds seemed fine minus the annoying chair zones. But I’ve also been to Lolla and Gov Ball multiple times, so my bar is lower than most.
The crowd during Lizzo was atrocious. Jetted after a few songs as it became unbearable to even enjoy.
I agree but it was because they put her on the side stage. Her crowd would've been fine on one of the larger stages.
we were behind this group of awful mean moms that were just being huge dicks to everyone around them, like one girl was clearly having a time and needed to get out of the crowd and they were just laughing at her like YOU BETTER FIND ANOTHER WAY OUT BECAUSE WERE NOT MOVING

That's exactly what happened to me multiple times when I tried leaving. No one was budging.

I'm not saying the crowd wasn't horrible. It absolutely was. I was very far away and it was still pretty bad with people being dicks. I just think it wouldn't have been nearly as bad on a larger stage.

The chair people are definitely the worst of it, but some sets (Billie, Willie - hey that rhymes!) overflow so much that the chair people are surrounded by standing people on all sides, leading to everyone tripping over their crap and them getting mad about people tripping over their crap.
Thankful I "watched" Lizzo's set from Robyn's stage where they were playing it on the screens. Friends were in the thick of it and had a hard time getting out.

you gotta go to music midtown and you will see your bar get lower
