This should be further confirmation that ACL will require the same.
This is great. I am worried that we are ending up in a situation where a big promoter like Live Nation is going to be able to do this but smaller venues/promoters won't be able to because they are small enough to be harassed by the state. I've already seen a few small venues/promoters introduce rules and then roll them back.

I think Big Freedia had mentioned doing something similar at Mohawk which should roll the ball on mid sized venues.

Saw that. I hope so. I'm guessing the smaller venues have just been scrambling to find out how to do this legally without getting shutdown while LN has a bunch of lawyers on payroll.

The small/mid-size independent venues in AZ have banded together to require vaccinations/negative tests starting on Sept 20. Similar situation with NE Ohio venues starting on Sept 7.

Im surprised Nine Inch Nails havent said a word about their Cleveland shows needing the requirement and those shows are super sold out and in high demand.

Figured they would announce it this week or next to give a chance for people to take either Pfizer or Moderna. Definitely staying away from that comment section.
The way they are phrasing it means they know whats coming. The neg test is seen as superior and proof of vaxx as an after thought. So they figure all those George Strait fans will just go get a test and leave it be.
Really glad I didn't end up buying a saturday pass with Future Islands and Phoebe Bridgers conflicting. Pretty happy with my decision to just skip this all together this year.

more upset jack Harlow v Alison wonderland and MGK v Bleachers are just so wide open for me and I dont care for any of them and would rather those be split up
Sunday is garbage, Saturday is stacked, Friday I planned on camping for George from the get go so I’m just glad that I don’t have to worry about missing Bleachers.
Got my pass mainly for Strait and Billie so everything else is just extra for me.
Friday: Megan -> George Saturday: Girl in Red -> White Reaper -> Phoebe -> Freddie Gibbs -> Doja Cat -> Billie Sunday: Bands of Horses -> Rebillet -> Erykah Badu/St Vincent (depending who I miss at Pitchfork) -> Tyler
Duran Duran only on for an hour would make it possible for an all hits set without any of their newer material thrown in there as filler. And you could stilll maybe catch the end of Tyler.
