Someone has to explain to me why you'd vote for pricklepants and others who don't even have a line up to present in favor of others.
Could be a few things. I’ve called out how lame it is in the past that some people just vote for themselves or maybe 1-2 others. These strategic voters could just be voting for some people they don’t think stand a chance so they don’t have to give their main competition a vote. But then they feel slightly better about not just voting for themselves.
Or they could have just went back to the infinity thread and liked what those people had going. Prickle actually had a pretty sweet lineup iirc.

Just realized I forgot to include Four Tet on my poster outside of the Madvillain Jam cuz I went through all the picks I made to bill my poster but I traded for him. As sick as my lineup was, it also has Four Tet. Vote for me!

Why are we still waiting for updated presentations? You've given quite a lot of time for people. I don't think we should be waiting for 3 days before next round.

This thing has been going on for a while, and everyone had plenty of time to prepare their presentations etc. I just don't think we should be waiting anymore and get it over with.

I'll go back to the prior pushback I've gotten for not accommodating a wide enough swath of Inforooers when presenting these polls. Tuesday through Saturday hits both WD & WE traffic.

I'm just advocating for cdev, who puts a lot of work into these and has a lot of people he's trying to please, and it's mostly thankless and just people complaining for reasons, sometimes, like in this particular case, that I don't really understand.
I simply asked to shorten the span of the rounds with just one day, that's not pushback. Also, the rush? We've been doing this for over 5 months. There's never been a rush from the get-go with this draft until we voted upon to shorten the draft after round 50 and to the half the time for picking even more - we did that twice.

We voted to double up picks but didn't we leave the draft time at what it is? It was already scheduled to go to quicker pick times and we didn't speed that up, iirc.
Anyway, it's been a long draft, sure, but cdev already explained that people want weekend and weekdays to vote, so either way we're not getting through second-round voting until Saturday.
That's true but don't just simply call it us wanting to rush things all of a sudden when some of us have openly talked about that during the draft multiple times aswell.

I also wanted to speed the draft up because I wanted to pick and see people's picks. I've been a consistent advocate for shorter windows.
Cdev has set voting up this way for a specific reason, which he has explained. Whether the voting round gets posted today or tomorrow, we won't know the results until Saturday. It does not make a difference outside of you get to vote a day earlier and then wait longer after voting to see results.
They're different scenarios to me. And besides, I never accused anyone of being inconsistent or hypocritical. I literally just asked a question, and yall haven't really answered it. You've just gotten defensive.
