Good news/bad news for my recipient, I'm in no rush to purchase things yet as I got until Christmas. Trying to wait for something that jumps out to me.

(I forget, do we have to wait til everyone has gotten their gifts in order for folks to reveal who was who? Logistically that certainly makes sense so that people don't start counting each other out as potential SS's)

Yeah, I think we’ve generally waited to reveal that after at least most people have gotten their gifts (but if I’m wrong, anyone is free to correct me on that).
Also, apologies to my santa recipient, but shipping from AUS is slow, and you may get it after xmas... but I anticipate sending it this week, at the latest this weekend

It varies year to year. Sometimes, I know what to get someone immediately. Sometimes, it takes some work. You'll figure something out. If nothing else, PM somebody on the board who seems to know them a little better and ask for advice.

I 100% agree. I rushed myself this year due to the wedding we are going to in a couple weeks. I wanted to make sure they made it out in time and I am usually way more confident about the gifts I am sending. Hopefully my recipient likes their presents though.

Lol. Tuesday. I wish it was Thursday! My work Christmas party is Thursday and I’m so ready to have a night out getting drunk for free!

Reminder that the goal for getting gifts sent out is this weekend. The OP actually says Friday, December 15, which isn’t a day in this year, but hopefully, if they go out by the beginning of next week, they’ll get where they’re going on time.
If you think your gift will be late or if you can’t send a gift for some reason, please let me know so that arrangements can be made.
If you have any special instructions or messages for your Santas or recipients (like if you’re traveling and want to let your Santa know not to ship at a certain time), let me know and I’ll pass on any messages.
If you’ve received your gift, please post in here or email me so that I can keep track of that too.
