Lmfao! Santa (or rather, Grandpa Joe) killed it. This is so funny and personalized. I really love it. I'll get more into it later, because I just got home and I gotta get up early, but really an awesome set-up. Thank you so much.

What did you get? I need some more descriptions please.
My puppy loves her lambchops toy! She had to go to the vet today for a checkup so it was a nice gift to come home to for her. Thanks Secret Santa (and her helpful elf)! It’s currently in her mouth as I type.

It's gonna take awhile to type up. I'll try to get to it when I get home from work tonight.
Thank you so much to my Santa for the blue jackets flag!!!! No joke almost bought the same flag last week - to whoever bought it for me, you may be a mind reader.

I think I’ve got the OP updated with everyone who has received their gift so far. If I marked you as received and you haven’t, or if I didn’t mark you and you have, let me know.
I’ve been in touch with everyone and have statuses on all unreceived gifts, so I can say that all have either shipped or are waiting on something specific, so even if they don’t make it by Christmas, they’re coming!
I’m traveling tomorrow and Thursday, but I’ll mostly be around if anybody has any messages that need to be passed on.
Thanks for participating, y’all! I look forward to Inforoo Secret Santas every year, and I feel like this has been a particularly good one so far! I hope you all have wonderful Christmases!

It seems like this year had some really great gifts all around. Thanks for organizing it!
Thank you Secret Santa for the awesome Schitts Creek wall calendar & a lil bottle of whisky to sip on the side
(I forget, do we have to wait til everyone has gotten their gifts in order for folks to reveal who was who? Logistically that certainly makes sense so that people don't start counting each other out as potential SS's)

Ok so the package was stuffed with flyers for Biden 2020.
On top was this note:
Mr. Pablo,
I write to you today at a time where the entire land celebrates the strong Christian tradition upon which our country was founded. As Jesus would want, this tradition is based largely around the acquisition of consumer goods regardless of an individual's ability to actually pay for them. Why, I saw a commercial the other day during a football game showing where it was common for a husband to purchase his little lady his and her matching vehicles for the occasion. Imagine how great our economy must be to where a man can buy his wife a brand new vehicle just to drive herself to her weekly bridge game with the girls.
Let us get down to business, though. I head from a close personal friend not named Zuckerberg that there were a few items you may enjoy as part of this season. First, a bag of Sour Patch Children, as everyone likes candy. Second, a shirt featuring my colleague, Bernard Sanders. Just between us boys, I hear he is a filthy communist. I feel you might want to think about that come March. Lastly, the information Ma.. my friend gave me was a little fuzzy, so I have included eight American dollars to purchase one or more of the following: a digital copy/rental of the 2004 movie Primer (dir. Shane Carruth), a digital copy/rental of the 2013 movie Upstream Color (dir. Shane Carruth), the 2019 book We've Got People by Ryan Grim or the 2015 book update of A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn. The first two are obscure art movies whose physical copies are hard to come by. The second two are texts that border on communist propaganda.
Once again, I am worried for you, son. They can talk about giving you free stuff all they want, but who actually gave you free stuff? That's right. Grandpa Joe. Think about that sometime in the future. Maybe March 3rd?
Warmest Regards, Joseph R. Biden
Then inside were some of the double-sided Sour Patch Kids. Somehow it became tradition that I get those for Christmas. I've always liked Sour Patch Kids, but when they added the blue one was like when Neil Young joined CSN. They're phenomenal.
Under that, a Bernie 2020 t-shirt, one with this image on it, fucking awesome:
Wore it to watch football with the boys and also to see Cats on Sunday.
And then, yeah, eight dollars in ones. Definitely gonna check out all four things, though, tbh. Been meaning to get my hands on both those books for awhile, and somehow never saw Primer.

Glad you liked your stuff.
Thx LD! I’m really glad I got to join in on the fun even though I snuck in belatedly hehe.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

piggy pablo, fun fact about your gift is that the etsy store I bought the shirt from seems to have stopped selling it like the day after I received mine. Also, the movies are inspired by our mutual appreciation of pretentious scifi. Primer has a very solid but complex narrative. If nothing else, you have to love what a group of friends pulled off with $7,000. Also, it's filmed in Dallas, so Texas connection and all.
Edit: Carruth was told he needed to simplify the narrative because people wouldn't understand it. He told them no.

I got a really thoughtful gift from abrakapokus! Recently became a citizen and turned 21 within the last two months so she got me some mini bottles, English candy and the hat to top it off! Gonna use the candy to tease my family today, the Jack was used in a drinking game and I will soon make use of the moonshine. Thank you!!

In case you’re wondering, atool4fool had to take the mini bottle and described it as the “one drink too far” that night. For once, she threw up and I didn’t. A Christmas miracle!
It finally arrived!!! (Holiday shipping to Aus is no joke apparently. haha) I LOVE it. Thank you so much NothingButFlowers. Not only did you organize all of this, but you also are a freakin rock star and got this awesome gift! No joke, I literally gasped when I opened it.
I especially love the beanie. I normally look terrible in hats and beanies bc I've got a big ole head, haha. But this one fits so well and looks so cute on me! I can't wait till it cools down and I can wear it around town. <3

I’m so glad to hear this, especially about the beanie because that was my favorite part! 😊
