ahh, thanks for that.
I'm pretty tempted to pull the trigger on 2022. I've never been to Chicago and the lineups are always pretty tempting. this far in advance I would think I'd be able to get decent accommodations, too.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Now that 3 day passes are sold out, am I better off buying 3 single day tickets or just waiting to buy a 3 day pass on the secondary market?
Im nervous about buying an individual ticket for each day and it selling out before I can complete all 3 orders.
Traditionally, the secondary market is very weak for Riot Fest - you can usually get a 3 day at or even below face pretty easily. With that said, the fest has never been "sold out" this early before. I'm not sure how many people are rolling their 2020 tickets into 2022, but even if it's just a couple thousand you'd think they would put those tickets back on sale at some point, right? If you decide to buy three single days make sure to buy the NIN day first.

Right now on stubhub they are almost $500 + fees. I assume theyll probably come down a little but if you are able to secure 3 1 day passes I would probably do that. iirc you can add all 3 days relatively quickly to the same order

I think its gonna hinge mostly on MCR fans letting their tickets roll over which would seem to be a lot of people. They mightve not even sold all their 3 days when the line up dropped and just wanna save it for a later sale or something. The resale market can stay strong if there just isnt any inventory and considering theyre one of the unique line ups and such at a very low price point some people might fork over the money for the weekend if they had planned on dropping $400 for a Lolla anyway.
Ok... so... drive into Chicago Thursday morning, go to the Thursday preshows and Friday all day. Then I hop on a plane to Kansas City Saturday morning, attend the wedding, fly BACK to Chicago Sunday morning, and drive back to Iowa after NIN. People have done crazier things right?? RIGHT??!?!?
