Strong urge to start looking at hotels in Chicago. Anyone got suggestions?
Find something cheap? And you can take the train to the fest. The Pink line runs closest to the fest. So just pull up a cta metro map and plan around that with a hotel.

it was their first show back? Of course tickets would be expensive.
Festivals are going to be cheaper than the solo shows. $190 for floor to the forum date. These guys are really showing theyre in this for the money.

Floor seats are that much everywhere.
199 for the Minnesota show. Guess I'm taking the trip to Chicago to see em

first show back was at the shrine, not the forum. They still took what they charged at the first show and placed it into venues triple the size. So its still all about the money. You would expect playing a 6k cap venue at the price point they had would ease up with larger venues, and it didnt. The solo shows in Europe are cheaper than the ones in the u.s. it was $200 for a vip ticket for their uk show. And $120 for floor and good seats after fees. So yeah, kinda figured it might've translated to north america, but apparently not.

Ok so checking in on this with MCR there. What type of headliners would we expect Riotfest to pair with them? Might end up doing this or Voodoo. Prob can't do both.
Really stoked about all the excitement and attention Riot Fest is getting after today's announcement! This will be my 6th year and I'm expecting Douglas will be close to capacity if it's any more packed than last year. Still sticking to my original mock:

I haven’t been keeping too up on who is likely to play Riot Fest before today’s announcement.
But I could realistically see The Strokes and Tyler the Creator as the other two headliners. An early guess I had late last year was Stray Cats as a headliner, but not sure what they’re up to this year. I’ve also guessed Yeah Yeah Yeahs now for the past few years, and will keep them in mind because I assume it’s only a matter of time.

Also Chicago is really dangerous. The Minnesota show may cost more, but is it worth risking your life to travel to Chicago? Think about that for a minute.
